krzysiek-k, just arrange it so that you don´t have a family anymore. you have to set up your priorities. i am sure you´ll figure out a nice way to do it.

Yeah, or just do what Nooon once suggested: "Bring your family" :-)

NeARAZ: ... as long as they don't drink any hard alcohol inside the hall that is. :)

This image-thing is certainly a funny tradition of German parties.

Actually, you will have to blame the jews for easter, not the church.

And the shintoists for handheld / console! Not the germans.

magic:

We had a survey after Breakpoint. The vast majority of our visitors thinks that Pegasos does not belong into the Amiga compo. Regarding PPC, the scene is split pretty much 50/50. And as we didn't have PPC entries anyway, the compo orgas, including Chaos/Sanity, who should be respected enough in the Amiga scene, decided that it's not worth it.

So, yeah, "WHAT THE FUCK, DEMOCRACY? SUXX!!"...

From the rules:

>If you submit something, you have to be present at the party. This now goes for all compos, including demo compos where we previously had exceptions.

I suppose one wouldn't have to be present during the *entire* party though- correct?

Case in point, I'm planning to attend Breakpoint en route to/on the way back from another party, so I might not be present during the compo itself. I suppose that wouldn't be problematic, provided that the entry is tested on a compo machine before I leave(?).

havoc: This shouldn't be an issue, correct.

havoc, as long as you pay the entrance fee everything is ok :)

Ryg: What will you do when MAWI want to enter a ppc and/or Pegasos demo ?
added on the 2005-12-31 18:46:26 by magic magic
Ryg & Scamp: good, that means our entry will be accepted as long as we pay the entrance fee, even if we can't be present the exact moment of the compo/prize ceremony? :)
added on the 2005-12-31 18:51:56 by keops keops
Keops: I think when you wire the entrancefee in advance (paypal? :-) Than you also can submit your entry by e-mail and thus you dont have to be present ;-)
added on the 2005-12-31 18:57:28 by magic magic
keops: Yeah.

magic: Most probably he'll say "thanks for this nice entry for the 'real wild' compo". Other than that, I don't know why this should your business. I doubt YOU are planning to release a PPC demo, are you?

afaik democrazy wise nobody want to split platforms at all.

but in nazi german bingen camp they do.

who cares? there are plenty of good parties to release stuff at, its just good that the better entries are more spread than all being released at bp/(old mekka), 4h democompos arent really fun anyways :)

Sometimes I think... Mr. Megadelux has it's head and brain for just one reason: So it doesn't rain into his throat. ;)
