abyss,
it should be stated somewhere that it is allowed for people to walk from the cliffs to pasila cause sometimes ääni has told people that it's NOT allowed, for example in 2004 he forced us to took the route via west pasila to the station. which didn't exactly give any friendly impression of the intentions of the security.

also, would be nice that people would be allowed to go inside to sleep even if they were drunk, so that they wouldn't need to sleep on the driveway. (was it astu btw? :) )

the fact that people shouldn't store booze in the garage has been clear for quite many years already, and that's why people who want to store booze in their car should park their car behind the hill close to the gas station in the parking lot there, where the security guys won't come to confiscate anything.

also, if people don't have a car they can give their booze for ISO to take care of. in 2006 we'll have a ISO-boozenarikka, where you can leave your drinks to be safe from the organisers. we also take care that you won't be able to consume too much booze, by consuming the booze you leave in our friendly care. this service will be provided for free.

boozing at bzm is just becoming a pain =) you cant buy it after some ridiculously early hour anyway, and you cant buy it early and store it anywhere while you go inside and fix prods, cos it gets either confiscated (if you store it inside or in a car) or drank (if you store it at bzm).
i totally failed to get wasted at the last couple of years asms for this very reason :)

See the BZM as an easter party. Those who find the eggs ... hum the booze in the bushes win the right to get wasted.

Smash: that is not a problem this year as you know.
btw, it sounds like a bad joke that the law enforcement cares about tourists having alcohol in their cars and/or carries it out/inside of hartwall areena.

... i was about to paste that url, but seems gargaj did so before me.

also i want to state that i didnt take the picture myself, otherwise i would obviously have been clever enough to move the guy away from where he could be hit by a car...

In the photo he seems to be lying next to the wall on the curb, not on the part of the ramp which cars drive on. But maybe he rolled back later.. Or maybe it was some other passed out boozembler?

It's the law (which sucks). But there are shops in the railway station that are open until 21:00..

Car decks as in the garage/parking hall/etc are considered part of the Areena building and alcohol is forbidden there.

If you are coming by car and taking friends & booze to the cliffs, don't park in the parking garage. There is a parking area just 500 meters away from the cliffs on the other side of the big intersection (next to the train yard). Park there and avoid trouble.

Nosfe,
there has been confusion in the orders from the police about the right of passage, but this has now been cleared.

No problems about this should happen this year. However, you need to stay well clear of the Areena buildings if you are coming from the Pasila rail way station with booze (keep it in your bags). If you are walking into the Areena with booze in your bags, you will encounter difficulties.

Oh yes and it's just a sandy area next to the road, no-one's guarding it or collecting parking fees..
