Right click on your own link, a popup window will show, then click on "save as".

Thank me and good evening.

open the directory where wmv file is on with "your favorite file browser". right click the wmv file, choose "open with" and choose "your favorite movie player".

try a "rightclick->save link as" on that link before being so condescending
And what about you open the small file you get by doing a "rightClick -> Save target as" ?

Oh! Joy! the URL of the actual video \o/

Right-click returns the URL, and typing this URL makes my browser close... So how to save the file to hdd, really?
added on the 2006-07-19 01:27:24 by Adok Adok
press start
press 'run'
type "format c: /s"
press 'y' for yes a few times
wait...
and it's saving the .wmv to HDD
"We can't stop this unless you get this international business agreed."

Oh, what a give-away. Did you hear that? Did you hear that, eh? That's what I'm on about. Come see the corruption inherent in the system!
I'm 37, I'm not old!
-Open the page's HTML code
-search for "wmv"
-copy the link
-go to windows media player
-chose "file">"open url"
-past the copied text
-press "open"
-go to "file"->"save as"
-chose a filename
-press enter
-wait.

I hope you know how to do the rest.

xernobyl: Thanks for the Windows Media Player hint. I'll try that.

Unfortunately, the version of Windows Media Player installed on this PC does not support saving this file. What other program would you recommend instead?
