A new prod = EP answer to dipswitch :

1/ for narrow band internet access : for 56Kb modems and less
2/ for DSL / Cable / Broadband access

Please note they are different versions regarding GFX : low-speed is lower quality, but faster to download for 56 Kb modems.

In the FAQ,
Code:body#www-pouet-net tr[cite="314159"], body#www-pouet-net tr[class="cite-271828"] { display:none; }
should be replace by
Code:body#www-pouet-net tr[class="cite-314159"], body#www-pouet-net tr[class="cite-271828"] { display:none; }

Well, I thought I've added them "back than"... However, it's now done. And for the bandwith, I don't think that much users will use it at one time.

ps: scene.org awards added. some "problems":
http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=8354 => -1 best demo nominee
http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=7138 => -1 best demo nominee
2002 awards: merge 64k&4k to intro (http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=7424 was the only 4k)
http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=10412 => -1 best soundtrack nominee
when not already done, don't forget the 1995 viewing tips.
ps: in the vein of the class attribute to identify the users, it could be interresting to add the level too. That way, it'd be faster for the visitors to change the presentation for any level of users. It'd result in something like :
Code:<tr class="cite-177 moderator">(...)
And could help to : add a shit brick background for the annoyingusers, hide completely the fakeusers, highlight the moderators/gloperators ( to see who can fix a mistake )

no need to hilight them, userlist.php already provides that kind of information.

keops: oh, thank you I forgot about the sorting feature on the userlist. But my request would provide a kind of automatic update. When a user is "promoted" you wouldn't have to check his/her level and add him/her in your custom CSS.

bah, who cares about who is gloperator and who isn't anyway? :)
When something needs to get fixed, people post their request here and some gloperator/admin/moderator will fix it. It's not like you could private msg them anyway (fortunately)

Actually it seems the people who can really act on Pouet ( have access to the FTP and DB ) are the moderators. It's good to know to who a given request must be addressed.

You know, with GreaseMonkey it'd take few minutes to make a script to had a send mail feature to the gloperators/moderators. ;)

i think he means he wants to distinguish the questions from the answers... i guess.

then again, those people read this thread almost every single day, no need to send them a personal message.
This thread is a good thing, admins/moderators/gloperators don't have to endure personal messages, pression and email reading/writing.

that's one of the reasons indeed.
