11 000 disks, eh?

To think, back in my A500 days I thought my 250 disk demo collection was pretty large. I just can't imagine how much space 11 000 disks would take up.
wooooah cool!

Reading Redhounds disclaimer, does that mean we have to spam you, The Heavyweight, every time we download the file and perhaps mail it to a friend? :)
Stop!

MIRROR TIME!

This is so BASS it's incredible.
Heh. You know you're an Amiga demo addict when you browse thru the names on disk 1, and can remember most of the demos, and when you come to one of the packs that includes 'Whoops I think I ate my Baby Sister' you go 'THAT WASN'T GRACE, THAT WAS TEK!!!!'

I think I'll be getting an A500 over here now...
I ordered scene archives a couple of years ago from the author and i must say that it has been an invaluable resource ever since. Quite fantastic work Tony.

Yeah it ended up like 11200 disks.

[It took many years to collect it all!].

I would recommend for you guys to download SASU from Aminet:
ftp://de.aminet.net/pub/aminet/demo/mag/SceneArchives.lha (which i wrote)

at least it will help you guys in actually finding out what disk numbers the demos you are looking for are at. (it is the easiest way to find the stuff you want). it is a MUI app.

Anyway i would like to thank all the guys i, of which i "raped" their demo collections :) . special thanks to kerfew.

Also remember, i collected most of this stuff before I really used the internet! - a lot of mail swapping :) .

To me, The Scene Archives is dead, as i moves to PC, and feel free to completly leech it all. also dont forget to check out "The Best of the Scene Archives", as that was regarded at the time as one of the best demo compilation cds ever !! :) .

Also, my new group (Affinity), we are looking for 3D artists, so if you have skills, contact me. (hweight [at] teamaffinity.org) .

bump, cuz I know some folks hadn't seen this when I mentioned it to them.
