Breakpoint 2005 after party survey

category: general [glöplog]
I heard, some lamers have complain in the comment-field, about the dreamteam that brought finest dj-service for your pleasure as traditionary... Metalvotze & Speckdrum........ ROTFLMAO

Well, if you like it, dont forget to drop some notes in this direction too... >;-D Same for ppl they DONT want the BP morphing to a disco, Assembly-Plagiary, or kind of hotelsleepers + bourgeois conference, like reallife meetings under business-spirit.... >:-D

If you don't want more people to become hotelsleepers just don't overdo all the h*llo/w*s harassing that heavily late at night.

he dreamteam that brought finest dj-service for your pleasure spent the whole party in front of their computers poking keys - they prolly also complained about the livegigs being too loud because they're OLD ;)

Gargaj: Not the whole party. I know that because I was BBQing with them outside - where the real party is. ;)
mizc: if you dont want people to have fun at partys, simply put millitary in place and announce that everyone will be shot for making noises "late at night".

heck, this was a brilliant party. it was a rather timeless party. nobody complained about watching demos or even hearing bluemchen (hello azzaro :)) in the EARLY MORNING hours (6 am).

consider wearing (FREE!) earplugs if you are in the need to sleep.

and besides, its bullshit what you said.

Mizc: Go to Musikantenstadl when you want to sleep at night. I am sure they pause the noise in the night.

For me I had no problems sleeping with Hallo/Was going on in the background. And besides, there were FREE earplugs at the entrance.

I don't remember Hello/Was at night at all!

and yes I slept there in the partyhall at least 2 of the nights. Or 3. I'm not sure (: I only remember someone suggesting I go inside when I was at the fire, and I went inside and slept, and that was Sunday night; I tried to nap before the gig but it didn't work (anxiety) and I slept the night before that inside the hall so Maali could get some sleep. Oh, that's right, Maali thought it was loud and he had troulbe sleeping on Thursday, which resulted in his being too tired to practice on Friday.

Well anyway, some people can sleep and some people can not sleep, and Breakpoint caters to both, so extra w00tage points for breakpoint and megafuckings to everyone who thinks everyone should be the exact same as everyone else.

Heh, that was most likely me. You "ordered" a water, when i fetched that you were already asleep. I bet you loved to have water in the morning though. All i want to say is: I am pretty sure you heard nothing of the noise in the hall and slept well (even though you were about 5 Meters away from the (in)famous hallowas-speakers) ;)

BP05 ruled big time. I'll have to agree though with the variety of food. Ok.. currywurst is now a trademark.. but.. I wouldn't mind more and better food ehehehe (and why oh why, did the spaghetti stand stop producing white sauce from the second day on?... pfff..).

And of course.. is it necessary to have a selection of LAGER ONLY beers?.. please please please, put some more varieties for the beer lovers. Ale and Trappist beers preferably =))

Two things which should be changed:

First, one should stop those stupid media teams running around the partyplace - there are already enough reports all made in the same way.

And second, stop certain people (guess you know who) from promoting the scene in a bullshit way - maybe it was cool to crack stuff and code even more copperbars 20 years ago, but most sceners today have nothing (or not much) to do with that - apart from the fact that in the past, there wasn´t a demo scene, but more or less a computer "scene" which did more or less everything.

amusic: It's Germany. I was shocked, that's what they have. It's... odd (: I like all the beers they have, tho; but yes it's difficult if you really, really like beer. (I could do with a selection of IPA's and some stouts, myself.)

But then if they just had a keg or two of Guiness, I'd just be planted next to it.

However, I have 3 bottles of the arrogant bastard purchased here, which I will save for next year. I may try to get more. It may be difficult (:

But yes, next year, about a month beforehand, revive the 'Beer' thread (:

Mega w00tage to all the Belgians who brought extra beers for us (:

Steam0r: yes, it was you - but I don't remember ordering the water. Just that you suggested I go inside (:
Sorry to interrupt you, but...

Video captures (DivX half-PAL) of all Amiga and C64 Intro and Demo releases of Breakpoint 2005 are now available for download at the Breakpoint website. Go leech.

Oh yeah, and if someone feels like adding the video links to the various prods on pouet - do it ;)

And PLEASE link to download.php?file= bla, and NOT directly to any mirror. This way the link will stay valid forever.

Truck: Next time I'll buy some Augustiner -http://www.augustiner-braeu.de/ - for you. Unfortunately it's only available in larger Bavarian cities, but - in my opinion - the best German beer so far. :)
