pouët.net

What do you want to be improved on pouet website?

category: general [glöplog]
Zest: ok, you love it, it's perfect, nothing to change. So don't post on this thread as it's suppose to post improvements you want to be added. Or just say: "no improvements, it's good enough as it is".

But you've summed up the whole stuff however: you love pouet because it's not rational nowhere. That's why as I'm quite wise and quite clever I don't like it as it is: it makes me lost lot of time. But I admit I love it because I can laugh a lot reading this stupid comments by guy like you. I love seeing kids alike guy trying to convince me whereas they are unable to follow a thread.

So if everything is perfect and nobody wants to change anything, this thread is dead.

PERIOD.

"I control all pouet threads because I rule everything" - EP

"yeah, uh huh. yeah." - P. Diddy

"Shut shut shut shut up" - Anthrax

"It's my party and I'll cry if I want to" - Wiener, Gold, and Gluck

"Who the fuck are they" - Dubya
This place reeks of adventure and excitement!
Too bad a subject as interresting as this one is polluted like this. Anyway, I'll take my chance.
I'd welcome a button for each production giving the possibility to report a "problem to be fixed". It could open a window for a small comment. Then submitting the lot could send a PM or something like that to the admins with the refs of the prod. Just an idea .. .
Regards.

Don't take me wrong, but there's a box on every prodsite:
Quote:
submit changes
if this prod is a fake, some info is false or the download link is broken,
do not post about it in the comments, it will get lost.
instead, email or post about it.

And most of the ideas are already implemented, not possible (without a shitload of work) or will result in a complete different pouet (again, with a shitload of work). Even the official todo list is filled up with a lot of work. Just check the last changes to get an idea how many people are involved in the actuall front end with its functions and you'll get the idea, how frustrating that thread could be....
"I'm unpopular but I demand these changes!!!"

Btw: Giving some more people access to the code could result in big... well let's say it this way: Maali as a gloperator could help us too, but we phear the unwanted results. ;)
Pouet smells like a demoparty : rulers and lamers side to side, some coding, some boozing, some trying to get interresting.
Except that everyone can speak to everyone directly, so everyone trolls like a bitch.

It's really cool as it is imho.

Damn Straight.

Oh and come to Inercia Demoparty 2005. Some fucktard forgot it in his list of demoparties to go to while on asm tv. Fuckings.
Moderators for the bbs that erase pictures, anims, trolling or nonsense messages would make me happy. But what's left then? ;-)

Ghandy:
In fact that would make Pouet like every other fucking community-site and all scene morons would die from boredom.

OMG! I wrote phear instead of fear, you damn 1337 kiddies are responsable for my bad english skills!
dr.sarin:Well, why not? I would prefer it that way if I'm honest.

I'm really new here. The reason I came, was I heard it was a great community. I started a group: ÐêåÐ.
I was ready to start uploading and linking my Winamp Visualizations. (AVS Presets) Well.. Where is the section for that? Is this strictly demoscene. I could consider an avs a demo that reacts to music. So, whats the dealio? Could ya add an AVS section?

But who had the idea to replace all farbrausch related screenshots with nazi pictures? ;)
I don't know who was so stupid for such actions but he was really lame doing so.

*********

Another subject: I've tried to download a prod and find the link bad. I then click on the bottom email pouet@neuromatrice.net and once the email sent I get it back as this email is no more valid.

So could the admin fix this quickly, for a better pouet.

Thanks you for all the hard work already done: pouet is great, it's some users who are "bad / evil / too hard".

You're just freaking allergic to the proper thread, aren't you.
madenmann: that was in context of 'what will be next?'.. :P
1st: I as a glöperator would like to be able to block posts from a certain fakeuser for some time when he fills the database with pure shit.
2nd: I'd like to see user 9490 as a fakeuser.
I want a "random prod" table on the down right side of the main page.

why not use prod.php ?

want "random of the day" / "random of the week" or what?
added on the 2005-11-03 05:00:08 by Hatikvah Hatikvah
yes it wouldnt be really util.. but fun..
random of the week could be cool, maybe
(just to add something more in the *Random* button style of the menu) :)

An avatar column in the 'latest comments added' table on the front page would be nice, so you could see who added the comment.

Same goes for a clue.

Blueberry: The future is now. Soon every American home will integrate their television, phone, and computer. You'll be able to visit the Louvre on one channel, and watch female mud wrestling on another. You can do your shopping at home, or play Mortal Kombat with a friend in Vietnam. There's no end to the possibilities.
