I really enjoy the prods created with the oldskool demomaker! They remind me of happier times, when the scene was all about the spirit and not the technical achievements.

Who defines what is a scene demo or not? Now that's a very interesting thing, I see people worried about OSDM demos submited in Pouet, since everybody can generate quite easily a demo and filling Pouet with prods which are actually the same thing. And yes I would be also worried but I don't care now just because I don't. But what do you have to say about, I am just wondering? Also, are Werkzeug prods supposed to be on Pouet? Or because it takes much more effort to design models/textures, then this is a demo cause the Pouet cannot be easilly flooded with WZ prods? That is a problem, someone could also upload Flash and Machinima (I've even seen some scene demos wrongly placed in machinima websites, wtf!), but I don't bother that much these days, but what is your opinion, it's interesting to read? And am I making any sense here???

I think all submitted prods should pass a filter where me and Slummy had a "pass" or "no pass" button each. This would improve pouet and help saving demoscene.

And the scrollers don't move smoothly on my pc.

Other than that, it's a nice idea. But people could just aswell make something in RSI Demomaker in UAE. :P
