ikstar: what do you mean do i track my tunes ?
i used to use fast tracker II, but now i use more "conventional" software. (mostly reason) but if you want oldskool chip tunes made with ftII, i can do that.

if you want drumloops made with kitchen tools, i can do that too.

minuslab, it may sound like a silly answer, but it's nicest to join a demogroup that consists of people that you actually like, and visiting a demoparty is the prime way of finding out which people you like. so visit a demoparty :)
enter a tune into the music compos, hang around a bit, meet people. also, demoparties are damn nice to visit :)

also, tried irc? many sceners do irc (chat), and it's a nice informal way to find out who is nice and who isn't and who needs musicians and who doesn't :)
ircnet, mostly, #demofr for france, #coders and #pixel are fairly busy, do some /whois on people for other scene channels (#trax, originally about tracked music, is rather full but damn silent, but exists too).
