random .au xmas compo 2006 thread!

it's been a while ;) last time i was in this neck of the woods, this kind of thread was of dubious value - anything changed? anyway ...
it's that time of year again!
that's right, time to start your engines and belt out some demos in an xmas flavour for 2006!
all the relevant info can be found at:

the deadline is the 19th of december, with the releases following the next day (with any luck)
- demos for win32 and any emulatable platform will be accepted.
- size limit is 3mb (subject to whingers)
- enter or horrible nasty things will happen.
- an invitro is scheduled for early next week.

It's going to be one hack of a prod on our behalf - 3D engine only got tested a few days ago. But we'll pump out 3MB worth of Xmas hack goodness in the spirit of things. If anything, it'll get the gun sight off the robot - and firmly set on us!!
