who work at sega ?

Sega rarely makes a good game...

You must be kidding, right?

Go buy a Dreamcast on eBay at once. Also see if they sell clue-bundles :)

Not to mention the alltime classics such as OutRun, Space Harrier, Shinobi, Wonder Boy or Alex Kidd

Pfff... those games suck! There better games of the same kind!

xernobyl: forget the Dreamcast and use that money for clues, really.

They probably had "remove ridiculous load times" on the todo list, but then one day:

<Manager> Can we release it like this?
<Lead> Well, I guess, if we want to ruin our reputa--
<Manager> Just answer yes or no, can we release it like this?
<Lead> y..yes.
<Manager> Good, cause I already sent it in to go gold yesterday. You staff are all fired and I'm giving myself a raise, effective immediately.

Sega also had great musicians (Afterburner for example)

Sega/AM2 made the best newskool arcade games (along with the bally/williams/midway-empire of course). Conclusion: The XBOX360 sucks, not Sega.

What is it with ikaruga anyway? I've only seen screenshots of it, and it looks somewhat like most other oldschool shoot'em'ups but with modern gfx and effects - what's so special about it?
added on the 2007-01-09 16:51:52 by px px
px: it's a nice shoot'em up in 3D with an interesting gameplay (depending on the colors of your enemies and your weapon) and a very nice design.

It's not my favorite shoot em up though, on Dreamcast I prefer hardcore shoot em up such as Gigawing 2 or Zero Gunner 2. Besides the DC, I still prefer DoDonPachi or the Raiden series (2, Jets, Fighters, DX)

Alex Kidd was crap back then and quite obviously it's still crap. Brrr, I still get the shiver.

stonda: I was probably a stupid kid (and still am) but I played it and enjoy it a lot back in 1986 on Mastersystem :)
