Some have asked about the music played at Kindergarden. While we did play a lot of music, here's some highlights:

Friday night
Bitjam Podcast 85 (In the club, mixed by gloom).

Saturday (before compos)
Assorted (old)tracks by Keith303 (www.keith303.de)
Random Scooter-tracks (the electro tracks several people asked about were all Scooter. The playlist that was on was this: http://open.spotify.com/user/lug00ber/playlist/3JKHcZTTDNqBtiEGNbbLym)

Saturday night afterparty
Amongst others, these were the main tracks (I remember). The order does not reflect the order the tracks were played in.

lug00ber: I wasn't at KG, but I approve of listing the music you have played at the party, hope to see that more often. :D

(List of demos played at the various demoshows would be also good :D)

The list from the demoshows might actually be attainable, I'll see if I can fix that later tonight.

yeah, doomsay-electronics... totally kick ass music btw.

we tried to play plastik but unfortunally it fucked up the beamer so we just skipped it.

... I know we had some more demos in there (from my list at least)... but one I forgot the name of was "do it right" ...

and as a fun story, I had my demos as videos on my laptop, and then I copied them to an usb stick..however the usb stick was b0rk in some way so I asked lugo to format it on his windows machine (since I'm running linux) just in case... and the files were lost.. because I had accidenatally moved the files from my laptop instead of copying them :-)

tho we downloaded most of them and showed anyway it was quite a fun story :-)

Why dos and win32, is so popular in demoscene/code? Linux has great resources.

And I will use it! :D
added on the 2009-12-03 10:27:11 by krzyzan krzyzan
Don't piss off the windows gurus. They still think that demoscening is impossible on GNU/Linux. This blind image should be revised soon though.
I know that there are some people trapped constantly in VI and Emacs that do the proper shit with OpenGL, so beware!

Not counting people that do 256B :)

Demoscene should switch to GPL, that is so heretic but would be so fucking useful.

Make (linux) demos, not (flame)war!

sp3c, I believe we met at Riverwash, if it's really you, then it was nice to meet you! ;)
