New PSM format specs

I wonder if anyone of you has some kind of specs for the *new* PSM format? All I can find are docs about the *old* PSM format (which has the magic bytes "PSMþ" instead of "PSM "), those can be found everywhere, but I couldn't find anything about the new format yet. Wotsit has the old format, scene.org as well... But nothing about the new one.
