If cats do go deaf, then they tend to seek closer companionship with their humans, to make up the missing stimulus. This is noticeable in a standoffish cat which gets older and more affectionate at the same time :-)

yup saem remote black model, but as you can see she's in control of it! Her favorite functions seems to be "sleep" :)

usually stops them from scartching their head or chewing irritated parts of the body, (I would assume the shaved part.)
Nah, it's used to channel sound to the cats ears. But seriously, you can get hearing aids these days, there's no need for ear trumpets and the like. ;)
