Any BMP Font editors for win32?

category: gfx [glöplog]

Are there any bitmap font eds for windows?
I mean, ones that can edit 8x8, 16x16, and 32x32 fonts
and save them as 256/24bits?

Thanks :D

Wouldn't any image processing software do?

If you want to convert an existing system font to bitmap, this is a pretty convenient tool for it: http://www.angelcode.com/products/bmfont/

Yeah, the angelcode font generator is great.

sounds to me that you wanna pixel fonts. then http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=51865 should do the trick (there are plenty other opensource and commercial pixel tools as well, but, like a chair.. whatever you feel comfy with). And there's no easy way to set up the grids in advance, other than drawing the grids in advance ;)

I used http://www.codehead.co.uk/cbfg/ - worked like a charm.

Well, grafx2 does have a grid mode (Although you have to change the settings to make it show up, and it only shows up in magnified mode)
