incredible stuff. for an oldskool lover this is the demo to go for. Exodus is famous for their concept megademos, where the scrollers and parts goes on, in harmony and each demo is a trip full of experience. not for anyone perhaps, but if you are into this... music is done by Kriss/Illusion and Agent-X, the last one is absolutely best musician on speccy ever, with some others close, and in this demo there are his last released musics as far as i know. graphics are okay, nothing special maybe, but code is also really good, no lame 4x4 effects everything is hires and smooth and optimized to the bone. go for it!

Very clean and easy to watch demo. I like the Hyperjump music and the end titles music.

By today's standards this *megademo* may appear slow and dated. However, at the time when it was first released, this was one of the better demos for the platform, without any doubt. I was largely uninterested in what ZX Spectrum demoscene had to offer in the middle of 1990s, but I watched this demo quite a few times, to listen to the fantastic AY digital track, or to watch waves on the surface visualiser or to appreciate intra-part transitions.

nice
Oh, the old good days. I'm happy that you liked it, however there are few things that I'd improve today. Anyways, lets see how far I can push ZX Spectrum Next ;)

BTW, a few tips about this demo:

  • if you want to go faster through the Hyperjump parts then hold F key before entering the intra-part
  • you can switch off/on the background in the first part with CAPSSHIFT
  • to see how much time per frame takes code in each part press SYMBOLSHIFT+B
  • and as usual in our demos, you can press ENTER to skip to next part
