I'm not so sure this ran correctly on my setup. The demo was very very very dark. There did seem to be some hint of scenes or objects, but they were almost black, and covered up by tonnes of alpha-blended warped images. If this is how the demo is supposed to look, then thumbs down. If not, then I have no clue until I see it running properly.
Well, I haven't seen this one yet since it seems to be almost impossible to find a nice setup where it works as it should. :) I guess that was the reason for disqualification as well, it simply didn't work on the compo computer (same as with Saint back in Asm'97, too).

My guess is that Win98+TNT2 might be the perfect setup for this demo but can't say for sure.

I think this demo is supposed to look, how it looks, yes very nice alpha blend images and weird dark scenes transitions. maybe it is a little buggy but it ROXXX HOW IT LOOKS!!!!!!!! (tested on GF2MX (det. 22.50))
I liked codename chinadoll more, this one was a bit murky even for my tastes. but lots of respect anyway, demos like this are pushing the envelope of design and editing in demos, instead of rehashing 10-year old patterns.

Very overlooked (as it wasn't entered here for almost 2 years!), very long, and very layered/abstract, definitely a psychedelic screensaver if there was one. Like Saffron, I prefer Codename Chinadoll (same guys IIRC) for its cleaner look. On my system, I get some bugs at the top/bottom of the screen (stuck/stuttering lines).. but then maybe that's part of the art, who knows :). If you dig Satori stuff, check this one out.

worked (win98; GF2 GTS)
didn't like it that much personally
cool soundtrack, but visuals sucked
can't turn ugliness into coolness by just overlaying the stuff tenfold
sorry...it's a 'piggie' prod for me

okay one, some cool 3d, some not so cool textures. countless layers, good music.. nothing really unique.

ey kids - this one's crap. aight?

it was originally made way before the chinadoll.

for those with darknes problems try "pornstars.exe -g 0.25 script.ccs" or other values to adjust the gamma.

peace

Couldn't get this to work on WinXP, it in fact does run under wine. The soundtrack was nice but I didn't like the demo.

It has been a long time since I saw this, but I do remember being really impressed and wondering how it slipped past so many people!

I don't recall anything really innovative, but it was beautifully presented with more of Destop's phenomenal logos.

A bit difficult to catch this one, while watching. But for some reason I like it a lot.

Music ok, visuals .. kazillion messy layers and some 3D. Derp. You need MFC42.dll for this one to run at all, with that it works even under Wine (software renderer is faster than the D3D one? :D)

Worked with W98 compatibility mode under XP. Nice tech for 2000, content-wise it looks like a Haujobb demo without proper polishing.
