Blah, I was just uploading a screenshot. Anyway, it was quite nice in the compo -though I didn't expect it to rank that high - but for some reason it runs like 10spf (yes) on this 1.5GHz computer no matter how I tweak VDub's options. Wonder what gives.

For some reason it runs at the proper framerate here. Pretty cool, bit short though.

DiamonDie: If it is an .avi (divx) and you are using media player, view it with BSPlayer (freely downloadble from the web). media player sucks ass btw.

DiamonDie: Oh, and that P4 1.5 Willamette thing is not helping either. I got one like that here and it crawls like a dead snail. Must be its 600-stage pipeline no doubt.

Well, very original for that try.
Should certainly have won.
That's a bit too short.
But wild... ok it's wild!

daddyvx, all the entries in the wild compo had to be max. 45 secs long.

Excellent.

shows about 3 seconds and then stalls
(tried wmp, bsplayer, sasami2k, zplayer and vdub. no luck recompressing it to some other format either. weird)

Very good! But I'm also having problems with frame skipping, even with DIVX 5.03 installed.

very nice.

The player which comes with DivX 5.03 worked for me.

I don't usually like prods with musical theme like this, but this one is a well made exception.

please boycott this crappy commercial divx5, use source-free-software instead like Xvid.
no don't use xvid, because it just creates problems. (can't have both divx and xvid codecs installed at the same time, for example).

don't really feel like recompiling mplayer 23731273712 times to watch xvid:s.

interesting rendering and style, thumbs up

(to id=166 _ i have xvid + divx v3 +v4 +v5 installed together, all runs fine, use packs of codecs you can find on the web)

The music is a bit "aggressive", but the visual really works. Too bad it's too short
