This thing's nearly a year old and I couldn't find it on Pouet.net. A minor oversight, I suppose...

Although the demo is very slow moving, it is *extremely* well made. And almost entirely done by one person!! My favourite bit is the face/landscape near the beginning. Clever stuff.

Framerate is very respectable and everything has a very professional polish. However, I don't like the music, but it too is well made if you like the style.

Well, I had seen this one recently and I never thought it would fit in pouet... I guess that's why nobody added it before.

It is all well done technically and there are some interesting effects. However it all stops about there. The demo fails to be professional as it clearly would like to be and it's not fun either. It is very long and boring and the music is way out of my taste. Also it's quite big in size. It may impress you the first time you see it, but that's it.

Nevertheless, it's quite a solid production for a one man show.

Ah, this was not here before? never thought to look it up.
This is a great demo, VERY well made. I couldn't believe that this is a one man production when I first saw it.
It has some great ideas and effects. I don't like the music much but still this demo definitely deserves a thumb up! I like this one...

hmm, isn't this the demo that features a texture from one of the purple demos?
realy nice demo, especially since every 3d scene is coded except for one object.

bhead: It IS a benchmark software. :)

Yes, I'm impressed. But no, it's not really a scene demo. It looks like a 'I want a job in a famous software company' kinda show-off. Professionally made, well desgined, but very comercial look'n'fell.

Still, the variety of scenes, the well made textures, the perfect design AND the high framerates even on my old TNT card are rather impressive and there are not much scene demos who could compete in terms of length/quality ratio.

it's a lot of work but the implementation of a load of things is too cheesy to find it impressive =)

some commercial demo-wannabe. cheesy, and boring.

Commercial? It's free. Basically it's the same idea as 3dmark, free benchmarking software, with a nice demo included (with a true scene spirit I might add, imho).

I really liked it, the scenes looked very good, everything ran nice and smooth, and the music is really awesome.

I just found this after so many years again and remember I had discovered it in Pouet and even thought I had voted for it.

Hah, the soundtrack to this just randomly popped up on my playlist. Always liked this one. The sunset/city lights scene during the credits especially struck me as really cool & well done. Funny to see all the early comments going on how 'forgettable' it is, but 14 years later I still like it.
