the first chipsound editor which was capable of playing 3 sid-voices at once ... and that on a poor YM2149 chip ... :)

Without this tool, Atari ST chipmusic would still be rather poor.

A fine tool used alot by many musicans the last five-six years.

The editor (for this version) didn't come with compatible replay routines, but thanks to Defjam we got tripple sid in the replay and thanks to Ben we got patternbreak working too (quite recently).

i have a love/hate relationship with this tracker so it gets the pig. the sound rulez hard, but the interface is pretty average, and there are some killer bugs.

The sounds composed with this nasty little programme rocked like hell!
If someone still has a megafile 44 hd-drive, please send it to slippy as he really needs to get access to his old sourcecodes... SSD 4.0 is still needed! :-)

Just for the sake of completeness ... I found my original replay sources of the current 3.5p version.
Although I think this version has been highly patched and bugfixed I'm going to release it now anyway ... just fetch it under http://www.animalmine.de/ssd35p-replay.s if you're interested in ... it also seems to be documented somehow :)

The first ym tracker I did Atari music on. Simple with its limitations.

Getting into this via STEem and despite the bugs, I can see this becoming my favourite ST-Sound editor of all time.
