liked it, especially from the second part!
best adinpsz stuff so far, keep improving! :)
<3
Zoomer!
Overall impressive work, liked the Music, Keep on making prods like that one :)
loading screen pr0n rules, music rules, demo rules. fucking awesome.
you know what
If adinpsz keeps improving like this
We're all dead
If adinpsz keeps improving like this
We're all dead
I enjoyed it on the stream.
great one
Yeah! Really good stuff.. Didn't think that the music was that inspiring but the really nice design kept it together!
hell yes! could have used more post processing but still looks nice. and the length is just perfect for this style. very nice 2d too. thank you.
Hi men! This prod was very cool because fluid while very dynamics with a great tune, that's okay! Above all, it has something different ... not the usual metal futurist ambiance, but dark flower or something like that. I can't explain very well but you guys of Adinpsz, you have a point and are probably opening some new route.
Trippy.
EPILEPTIQUE!
voyage psychédélique !
Throughout the demo I kept switching between thinking 'this is awful' and 'this is awesome!'
All the thumbs up and the comments above built big expectations in me... but no.
This is a shameless collection of clicheé items and effects which were already old in 1998, painted in dutch colorscheme and mixed up with bad psytrance.
I thought (and hoped) that asian chicks in the loading screen, toruses and kaleidos where something we left in the previous century for good.

I'm with Dixan on this one! Completely horrible, did not enjoy this one in the slightest. Uninteresting effects that don't look good accompanied by an incredibly boring tune that annoys the shit out of me. No thanks!
Quite boring. A really good tune would help but this was just average one for me.
Thanks for the trip.

Amazing!
This is the perfect mix between oldskool and newskool. There's like a twilight-zone. Warmth meet the cold, goa, chill, colors, specular spaces between the psydelious wavetranscending brain-salad and the vivid 4th dimentionally dream state of mind! Lovely music but the pace could have been more energized! Include "ADHD.LIB" in your next production and buttons will pop all over the place :D
cool
thumb up for gfx-art. But starsfield-like effects, and rotozoomer-with-feedback effects - sux
great demo!! congrats!
A lof of work obviously went into this, but... this demo just isn't for me. The music gave me a slight headache. Piggie.
some very pretty scenes, a few very ugly ones but all in all an enjoyable demo
Really impressive! Big step ahead compared to your first prod. The "second part" & fast zoom are really awesome !!
There are things to say of course. But HEY, wtf, second demo?
Lots and lots of 2D prettyness. I enjoy that.
And the zoomer at the end was all kinds of great.
And the zoomer at the end was all kinds of great.
Trippy, but I don't like the music. The zoomer was good. Crashes at the end.
krash, need vid
Imaginez un corps de rêve !
.
Yeah, a winner demo from 1996! And it even works smoothly on my ancient January 09 too-old-for-demoscene PC !!
vive la jeunesse !

Wow! Just wow!
This demo has a lot of rule concepts.
- atmospheric intro with 2d background
- a lot of psychedelic warps presented with trance music and great sync
- at least two moments where you think the demo is going to end right here and you don't want it to end and then you scream "Yeah!!! It has more!"
- most psychedelic and longest crosszoomer ever
- I have wet my pants now..

beautiful intro, great sound for the opening, then it turns to a winamp pugin for a trancey tune. Tricky.
And where is the linux port ?! :)
Great work, a real trip.
great flow, some superb gfx.. but on the other hand there is lot of clichee items, just like dixan said..
anyway nice work ^_^
anyway nice work ^_^
superb introduction with beautiful gfx! the rest looks really fine, but it's just one of those typical goa trance demos which we've seen so often.
The demo is technically not impressive in the least. Effects are technically boring and lame.
However, the art direction / design is beyond amazing... and I can't explain why, but the zoomer at the end made me tear up.
Admittedly, I'm a huge goa/psytrance fan... so I HIGHLY enjoyed the tune too.
Your mileage may vary. I wish I could give this one a triple-thumb-up. It may well be my favorite demo of all time.

massive! watching it on the bigscreen i felt forgetting about time and somehow traveling to a whole universe. great!
i liked it + what the others said.
Awesome zoomer.

Some nice spacey themed bits but its all a bit unoriginal on the whole.
Some nice spacey themed bits but its all a bit unoriginal on the whole.
I did not really like the start, was a bit slow and boring, then it build up progressively in a very special way despite the semi non related stuff appearing in random order and the abuse in the number of kaleidokope effects. Absolutely thing the fonts you choose are horrible, but all in all a very cool demo :)
This demo surely wasn't built with originality in mind yet it comes with some quality parts in it. The approach itself was pretty consistent but I didn't feel those last crucial efforts to make it one insanely trippy experience. On the other side an entracing demo probably isn't all about trippyness anyways. I probably would have gradually upped the ante by inserting flashy color rotations and wobbly post processing or something but this is not really my domain anyways :)
Concluding: no groundbreaking stuff going on in here but a pretty solid show and hopefully more adinpsz releases coming soon.

Wow, rarely you see a pc demo that is so driven by effects. I thought during this like three times that like now it's gonna end but then it just went on and on, and that rarely is an upper but thankfully in this case I think it was. I like the effects, the 2d graphics, and the transitions work well. The music I didn't care that much of, it was just medicore psytrance. Other thing is that the overall quality is not that impressive, I mean that it might need just some more polishing here and there, but still, a great demo!
There were some parts where it trailed off or looked a bit tacky, but that aside I really liked it. It really felt like it was taking me on a ride and the zoomer that just kept going almost put me into a blissful trance.
I can't say it was the most technically impressive demo I've seen, but it was one of the most enjoyable I've seen for a while.
For me, the music was the main standout. It worked so well with the demo and made it even more trance inducing.

I think I really liked it. The last minute or so seemed a bit unnecessary, despite the preceding minutes' having contained some lovely stuff, but whatever.
Nice work!!
Nice work!!
bravo les gars! some very very nice stuff in there.
however you could have skipped directly to the trancy part and left all the figurative stuff (pseudo talking chick included) aside, it didn't work as well.
@#ponce: I don't think there is too much stuff hapening at once per se, maybe what is missing is subtility, better balancing between elements.
to sum up, nice trancy demo but the figurative parts destroyed the feeling sometimes. infinite zoomer worked very well tho.

I started off thinking..."is this all it is? a picture with basic effects" but in the end it was enough, mainly thanks to the killer tune. At what i assume was the end i got an error:

this really must have been a lot of work (especially from a pretty new group)! it goes on forever and it seems really polished as well. impressive work to polish it all well over such a long demo, with good transitions all the way and a pretty good flow.
but ... the content was so dated, when it finally ended i half expected to go back to a dos prompt. by the time the torii showed up it was really taking the piss. :)
still, it promises much for the future.
btw, props for what looks like a zoomer made entirely from the results of a google image search.

This demo is very easy to hate because of all the outdated stuff. (what dixan said.)
But at the same time it has an interesting flow and it has some really trippy scenes. The zoom was really entertaining with the completely random images.

I uploaded a video of this to YouTube, but I keep it private so far because I am not shure if some of the images used in the infinite zoom are license free? If they are I make it public.
i fucking love the zoomer.
not really my cup of tea but good work!
Video? This doesn't run under Windows 7 btw - the window just flickers back and forth between the taskbar and the demo.
ponce: Where do you want me to send the log.txt? I'll help you out, despite this crappy, crappy non-valid bullshit excuse:

ponce: i was more remarking on the randomness of the photos :)
I get a classic goa demo vibe from this. Time travelling 10 years back or so, with the illusion being shattered few times with a more modern look. Don't know how much of this is intentional, but like this the demo falls a bit short - perhaps going all the way into the 90's would do the trick?
Wake up people, it's adinpsz's SECOND demo !!! Be prepared or the third one will kill you ! ;)
Verrrry nice design and a smorgasbord of effects for ... jesus, all your demos are from 2009.
This fulfills my recommended daily allowance of feedback effects and zooming. For your next one, use a series of 3d objects scaled by powers of ten, it's way more fun and avoids that little 'tic' when your texture coordinates hand off.
Oh, and Barzoule is mistaken about the vocals: they're perfect for the psy/goa vibe : D

Great style! This is living proof that a demo does not have to contain super-modern effects in order to be entertaining!

was nice on bigscreen
When watched, i wished that it could last forever.
Works fine for me on Windows 7. Lovely demo :)
Very nice!

any update on the video situation
Too hot for me unfortunatly. Maybe someone in the US can upload a video under "fair use" basis. Here in Germany releasing content with copyright protected images can become very costy (several thousand euros).
@pandafox
The next one will blow my ass :)
Ca c'est juste un petit encouragement pour les petits frenchies qui se sortent le doigt du luc pour nous pondre quelques demos, mais n'empeche que j'ai pas aimé :)

Fsck. Yes. Wicked. Do it again!! :D
I got a late 90s feeling with this one, would have thumbed it up back then but not in 2009.
Some were really nice, others were too long.
Yes, it looks a bit "stale"... But the flow is tight and makes for a more than enjoyable ride.
I hated the purple typography (purple as in #FF00FF).

Nice Amiga demo! Must have been a lot of work.
Holy fuck, that was an awesome trip! This goes straight into my top10 all time favourite demos guys!
alrite, thanks for the vid, that was great, congrats on your first megademo guys
the square mosaic girl scene is probably my fave, effects so damn smooth
sort of 90s dejavu
not bad but also not really exciting
still good work

One of the best demos so far this year, in my opinion. Thanks for the trip! I'm not a big fan of the music, but what the heck...
hah. I like the beginning and the music is not bad at all. the demo has its moments. the checkerboard-torus part caught my attention the most. thumbs up for something i can't put my finger on.
Nah. Ok for the effort
SUPER AWESOME!
this must've been soo cool on the bigscreen! who cares if half the content is form the last millennium if it's awesome?! great ride men!

What a trip! Thumb up for featuring a rich set of innovative effects! Thumb up for the well-used kaleido-effect! Thumb up for a unique choice of colours! Thumb up for reviving the concept of a trackmo! Thumb up for the Thorsten-Fenslau-style soundtrack! Thumb up for an excellently arranged ending!
And in case you missed my point: I like it! :-)

love it!
Epic and psychedelic work. Maybe music is kinda plastic (especially beat) but - hey! - it does not matter. Oldschool trip.

Haha I was sat behind you guys, and saw you ending the last lines of code and previewing the demo, and I remember myself saying to xphere that this was going to be the winner demo =)
Congratulations!!!
Congratulations!!!
Woah, superb! Bringing back the nineties and all the nice memories along! Thanks guys! <3
Okay you guys have killed the entire rotozoomers that could have possibly existed anywhere at any given time. I am so thrilled, this is utmost impressive and very well executed. I can say, this demo features some of the best transitions I have ever seen.
The first scene was promising and full of tension... but the rest just doesn't do it for me. Good work nevertheless.
Fresh! But music was boring.
What a trip!
Some good ideas.
good content, nice trip !
nice trip
How many times can one use that recursive render-to-texture effect in the same prod? This demo has the answer: all the time. The first scene is awesome, the rest is sort of blah.
Brilliant show.
oldschoolish + psychedelic = rulez
So far best demo in 2009!
Extatique!
Was quite nice on the big screen.. nice trip.
nice

Nice. The endless zoom out is amazing!
High quality video? WANT! :D
:D COOL!
Top!
OK, that was trippy.
Gosh ! this was great show. I like those effect from old times like flying toruses, rotozoomers, kaleidoskope. Another thumb up for groovy music.
doesn't launch :(
huge thank you.
I haven't seen such production for a long time. Quality fully justifies its length.

thumbs up again for releasing the sources :)
SOURCE FTW.
better than french television
Great!
wonderfull example on how some syncwork and neat music can make rather trivial stuff look damn good. The first scene looked awesome no matter what though. and I liked the zoomer even though it should have had only painted gfx.
A great trip!
A great trip!
damn... just noticed this was 9 minutes :D I was not bored at all. Even bigger thumb!
I dont really care for the music, feels like some sort of visualization at first, but while it looks pretty and has wicked kaleidoscope effects, I'm left wondering where this is trying to go...
Thanx for the psycedelic trip. I can leave my LSD in the drawer today. ;-)
For me, this partly looks and sounds like a Synesthetics [STS] Demo.
For me, this partly looks and sounds like a Synesthetics [STS] Demo.
psychadelic & well synced, but the effects & music were kind of monoton for me.
Pretty nice beginning... but then it turns into a boring 90'ish goalike thing... ok for a first one.
really cool!
great trip! had a few bleak places, which were immediately changed by the cool ones, so it was good. and yes, i want more!
Very good beginning. Pretty 2d logos. Mixed feelings about the zoomer at the end. Bored to death in betweens :)
Feels like a total experience...I really loved it. Arguably the best demo of the year. :D
:)
Really couldn't understand it... :S
loved the start, loved the end (reverse zoomer rocked), middle was a bit meh, overall great demo from still a fresh and young group, look forward to your next one :)
Same, nice start, love the graphics, then the end with zoomer was totally great, even if not my taste (maybe greetings, focus on the fx ;p)
If I could give a second thumbs up for releasing the source, I'd do so now!
very promising one!
exclude the clichés, find a pro musician, squeeze in some shocking ideas and you're all set to win Anything! :D

Good design demo. A tiny bit better direction (like faster starting sequence) would make it into a great design demo. Keep it up!

I confirm, it works fine on 7 x64, no probs here.
Nice effects, nice demo, I liked it :)

This was okayish. Nice zooming but something felt missing..
"ok" demo, kills my display driver in Vista (ATI), nice to see the source though.
Last two minutes are 2D-zoomout-awesomness.
finally a worthy successor to ainc and digital murderers best demos!
nothing special for me. An endless zoom is always nice to watch. But that's about it.
i think this is my favourite demo from 2009
same, i love french stuff, BAGUETTE
Its ok demo. Without problems. A bit of oldskool effects... music don't like
Great show!
nice journey.
Wow, I'm really impressed by what you'd done in so little time.
That one is a really good trance trip, very demo-ish.
A few things didn't turn me on though: first, the demo won't work on my WinXP + Radeon X700 (crash at launch, no error in log), and the video on Demoscene.tv looks like a bad screener. Second, the cheap looking shockwaves, the ugly pink font (but maybe it was intended?) and the cheap greetings.
The rest is really well polished. I especially like the zoom out series (very good mise en abime).
I'm looking forward to seeing your next prod.

we had a lot of the red and white stuff ! france is soo awesome !
it just doesnt matter if effects are outdated when the overall-feeling is close to perfect :p
but let me tell you: there´ve been mostly elite-sceners ! :p
( plus them ppl watching our circus! me==teh klown ! )
DO NOT MISS MAIN 2010 !!!! it´ll be awesome once again !
Cute!
Surprised me!
I'm with Gloom on this one. In addition, the music was bland, uninteresting and poorly produced. And I am a fan of nineties goa-trance.
Nicely hypnotic and with some original "fractal feedback" ideas
Forgot to thumb this one. Worthy winner :)

Like the psychedelik atmosphere.

Fucking ace :O Didn't work on my old gfx card but now I know what I missed.
<3
Some really cool stuff here. Still I think that with a few minor changes it could have been better.
Trippy, <3 it !
ALLEZ!
agree
Wow.
Something reminded me of this just now, and I had to watch it immediately. Despite its many flaws, I still fucking love it :)
Really nice demo - especially the music and of course the endless zoomer <3

Crazy stuff but very well done! Deserves the first place at Main.
Whoa, missing thumb.
Totally loved the infinite zoomer. The music could be even more psychedelic, though. ;)

not my cup of tea at all
Technology meets psychedelia in fireworks of effects. Keeps up a high level of creativity all the way through.
hm, kinda cheesy but at the same time very good.
Love the infinite kaleidoscope effects and the awesome zoom in the second half. Music is excellent!
Forgot the thumb - oops!
Unique style
great trip although some of the stuff felt (slightly) unfitting.
+ loving the massive look of the effects.

fucking a to the mazing!
I like how the effects keep permutating and stay fresh. Infinite zoomer was my favourite part.
yeah, great demo and nice visual and soundtrack :)
Nice audiovisual trip
Properly trippy.
I love the atmosphere, the sync, some transitions and a lot of the design! Really entertaining, low-tech or not. Only some parts (the greetings especially) looked out of place.
Awesome!
Wow, how did I miss this one? Guess you gotta like techno/trance to enjoy it, but if you do the pacing is great, and it has artwork to go with it. Certainly could've made MindCandy 3.
