Nice OCS/ECS code :) Keep 'em coming
Rocks!
I remembered some stuff differently from when I last touched an A500 :) It'a s great idea that you also want to release the source.

Well done Axis and Alien et al... :)
youtube please :)
\o/ great stuff, awesome gfx
very nice
takes a little while to get going, but once it does, it rocks.
Nicely pushed the hardware.
Awesome comeback
Great stuff
Finally, some insane coderporn for A500.
Pretty sick code. Loved it!
Oxyron on Amiga <3 Looking forward to the next one! ^^
Great awesome demo, well done.
this voxel shouldn´t be possible :)..
The VOXEL at the beginning of the demo roxxx hard!! Rest is also great!!
Excellent!!
Nice demo full of little references to classic Amiga prods.
Loved every second of it...
Nice debut on the platform, good code etc. Sadly pretty horrible graphics and especially design though that ruined half of the content for me. Music wasn't memorable at all. Decent demo but I liked the Unique entry much better.
It's a little bit all over the place but the code is definitely above average and some effects (like the voxel and rotozoomer) seem particularly interesting.
Looking forward to checking it on real hw. :)

Some really cool effects here and nice to see a comeback. Not a huge fan of the design though. I guess the music could have been better as well.
Anyway, definitely a thumb up.

OXYRON! :)
Great code in this one. So nice to see more OCS demos :0)
Oxyron on Amiga, welcome back !
been wondering through the whole demo if its an a1200 spec or higher, big WTF when seeing its for a500, good job :)
cool!
Oh yes, obviously.
Fantastic... Welcome back!
Welcome back =)!
Wow great stuff! I liked the art overall and great music.
Very well-coded transparent loader! Some scrubbing of precalcdata back and forth to make it last longer was a bit meh but no problem really. A bigger letdown for me was that the vectors and fractal zoomer were animation players. And then it's not coder pr0n.
Going to thumb this up for the excellent loader and chunky, best on Amiga so far!

<3
these were some mad OCS skills! lovely stuff, hope to see more of that!
Oxy \O/ .. on A500!! great & awesome !!!
some pretty nasty stuff for a500, nice work guys. hope to see the other parts packed into some fine new release :-D
Really nice!
alien pixels are best pixels =)
yay!
Right after I commented on the GBC demo It Came from Planet Zilog that it makes OCS/ECS demos much less impressive, I saw this... WOW! 8 bit demoscenes have advanced so far in effects, design, and production quality that Amigas gotta run hard for their money. This one made it, spectacularly.
Highly enjoyable stuff!
A500 ruled at Revision and this demo was a nice surprise. <3
I like it!
Great to see the men strutting their stuff on A500. Was not disappointed.
Oxyron back on Amiga - awesome! Hope to see more prods from you guyz!
Nice surprise, well done.
Awesome demo but can't seem to make it work on UAE ?!
Works fine in UAE, just use a normal 68000/1.3/512k+512k config.
Nice demo with many good effects, nice surprise seeing an OCS demo by Oxyron, didn't expect that at all. :)

Very nice demo. Really enjoyed this production. Ocs/ecs revival! :)
Forgot my thumb ...
Awesome effects on a OCS/ECS machine! Top stuff :)
absolutely amazing!
Underrated should've placed 2nd, what Oswald said!
Awesome surprise at the party! Nice to see Axis doing Amiga stuff again.
Demo started really well, but once everything was about to start around 01:50, the music somehow fell apart. Excellent code and good overall vibe save the thumb.

The code alone saves the thumb....designwise this is not so good.
what Corial said.
This was great!
When I saw Oxyron on Amiga, my expectations were just some kind of fun 'hello world' demo on Amiga.
But this is actually full of tight and state-of-the-art effects (yay Spacecut!), and I also like the chunky stuff in there. That is a direction I'd like to see the Amiga OCS/ECS platform moving into, closing the gap with AGA.

Great demo! The voxel was fantastic. I feel the graphics wasn't all that though. I love this statement "It will not be our last!" . And I'm looking forward to check out the source code.
Code candy all the way. Beautiful group logos. The full size pictures not so much my taste. Splendid transitions. Great comeback on the 500
Where's lazy Graham?
cool stuff... how could this end up on the 4th place? compared to the other prods before this is for the the clear winner..
thumb up for the great voxel!
Note very good design and a bit random, music (instrument) quality was not good as well, but nice effects (though I cannot judge what was real and what animation).
Weak thumb up.
Weak thumb up.
OXY! prod of the party for me
A winner, wow! Lot of great fx and what about that incredibly well looking voxel... Amigaaaa!!
Beautyful!
liked it very much on the bigscreen
full of really good effects - good flow, and music
it was nearly as good as best a500 demos from 90's
to bad that it wasn't released in amiga demo compo - it would be really interesting
weak point: gfx, design - esspecially first fullscreen, ruined demo for me :/
some good logos from alien (I think?)
can't wait for more :)

I have to correct myself a bit regarding the graphics. Both Oxyron logos and the various fonts are all great!
great show :)
Oxyron (again) on Amiga - that's great. Strong code and powerful effects. Good job.
Great production guys!
keep em komming. I wait for additional 2 discs mentioned in end upscroll

5 weeks before revision, build a new team and start from scratch.
Whoa, respect! With that in mind, the demo is awesome!
Very nice
Looked a bit "old" and the music didn't sound too good. What's with that clicking noise?!
Real early-90ies feel to this one!
And speaking of the early 90ies - As an Amiga owner back then I remember starting to glance with some envy on what was happening on the PC (game and demowise) at that time, and two things that impressed me were the Comanche voxel-based game, and the fractal zoomer from Crystal Dream 2, so seeing similar effects on the good old Amiga 500 is quite nice! :)
The demo mentions some kind of readme with all the juicy technical details, where would I find that?

Ultranice.. Perhaps doing some AmigaDemo some day :)
Love it!!!
Axis: The prod as a whole still wins out, despite "going Spaceballs" ;) cos it also had impressive real-time parts with really good code, not that I judge only based on code. You can be sure I thumb down animation-presented-as-effect if that's not the case.
It's also 'just info' cos far from all know what the platform can and can't do in real-time, and animation players are just too tempting and easy, compared to a real-time 3D engine doing the tie fighter tunnel in half the fps. If the info is not there, that coder would be perceived as not as good, which is untrue.

Makes me feel 20 years younger. ;)
Kudos for the source release and nice effect write-up!

The HAM6 stuff was really worthy to compete against, was an honor!
Thanks for the source and write-up. Hopefully others will follow suit.

Decent. :)
Very pleased to se a mixed bitplane and c2p demo. (although some parts in the music sounds a bit off....)
It's a bit of a shame it fires that voxel part so early, and it never really catches up to it.
Love it! :D
ordinary effects, but nice )
I cannot explain why but I love this one.
The rough and aliased drawing of this cyberlobster looks gorgeous to me.
Kudos to Nytrik's lowpoly modeling! :)

Great effects (that voxel looks incredible for OCS). Graphics and design are a bit rough and unfocused but the demo has a good flow.
Amazing stuff!
Great demo! And the write up of all the effects is also great to read for us young new school Amiga sceners who just do c2p effects. Knowing a bit more about what techniques are used enriches the demo watching experience.
Really nice!
As exocet said. And thanks for the source!
...now this is truly oldskool!
Pretty nice, even with all that precalc. Could've used better pixel graphics, some logos were OK though.
c64 impact , ideas, wowness level in the next oxyron amiga demo? :)
Good design and effects!
pure pleasure!! :) :)
great music, images, 3D
Some feects are mind-blowing
How about an Amiga binary of the packer?
I can't really watch this on my NTSC A2000 020 until the WHDload patch comes. Is that still on the way? Thanks.
can't believe i didn't thumb this one already, great to see the C64 masters on Amiga (again)... big respect for releasing the source as well
Astonishingly good effects, great demo!
Very strong.
Very impressed by the routines in this demo! The graphics are not my cup of tea though.
Never thumb up that one? mountains, 50hz rotozoom & fractal flight are awesome!
Nice
Ah, this one has the potential to be a truly killer demo. Voxel landscape in HAM6 mode, rotozoomer, copper chunky city and motion blur are one of the best effects I've seen on A500. But then again the gfx is way below average (except for logos) - fullscreens look like from a very old C64 demo... When I listen to the music I hear different pieces glued together rather than a complemetary soundtrack. But I quite liked some of the parts. Meh for 1991 samples, though. There are some nice transitions like pixel rocklobster to wireframe one, but overall the whole thing looks too much like one-effect-jumping-into-another. Anyway - all those complaints pale in comparison to the crazy good code. So thumb up! And what Gargaj said.
Absolutely rulez!
I could have sworn i voted on this before, but doesn´t matter, as this is the 100th thumb-up! :)

Nice one!
Ace code, as usual with oxyron! :-D
great show
Great effects and soundtrack and perfect pacing
🦞
How come I didn't thumb this yet? Amazing stuff.
Very good stuff, especially in the code domain! End screen absolutely rulez for its soundscape, and invites to keep it running.
Nice A500 demo with nice pacing, effects and music
🦞
🦞
Very enjoyable. Many classic but highly tweaked effects presented
straight from the shoulder with good pace and without any "Firlefanz"
(frippery).
Moreover, the source codes and a tech write-up are available :-)
The (strangely) good and remotely tribal sounding(?) music with its
very own style and mystic atmosphere is worth a mentioning, too. And
the endpart is a starwars scroller which is always a plus! All in all, a
great release I'll remember.
P.S.: I wonder if the two(?) discs full of additional effects have been
released yet?

OMG, how could I forget to thumb this one? Great demo, and thanks for sharing the code! It motivated me to start coding my own system, and I stole the depacker routine from there.
Missing thumb. What Soundy said.
Amiga500 Killer!
Missing thumb as well, mainly what Jazzcat said.
That was fun :)
Wonderful!
