A great production showing how much can be done on such an unassuming old platform. It was a strong very positive surprise. Rich content, great graphics, music, everything is coherent and does not get bored even when watched several times. You can see a lot of work here, big applause for the authors!
Amazing content . Gfx and fx are really great.
Wow!
Massive.
Massive demo and huge milestone in atari demoscene. Hats off! Congrats
what a production, full respect !!!
Cool!
Great job
Awesome demo, congratz Guys!
Awesome!
fantastic production.. and the music rulez so much. this demo changed my mind about pokey:)
damn, how many floppies for that?
Wow!
Just wow! What an awesome and entertaining - never-ending - demo! Absolutely cool design and amazing, incredible code! Pure entertainment at its finest! I haven't enjoyed a demo as much as this one in a long time! ❤
Style, effects, music, nothing missing at all, totally awesome!
Holy cow! This is true perfection! The whole demo shines in every aspect, and the sequence at 8:57 - 9:05 really took me by surprise! Wow! I had to rewind(!) just to check what was going on there! Awesome! AWESOME!
One more of those demos that leaves me questioning how on earth we can ever compete against something like this.
Marvelous!
Marvelous!
Osom!
It was great to watch it on the big screen :)
Wooow, that was massive, non stop effects and graphics, crazy!
Very nice demo with great effects and good sounds. Thumbs up!
Great effects here - I like especially transparent roto-zoomer(s), Another World-like view on the city, 3D "mirror" octahedron, parallax, scene transition through "3D flight", textured wall scroller.
This is quite nice demo. It has a few effects, some music, light design... I got you! It's a masterpiece!! I like it very much despite the fact it needs 1mb (I guess it can run on standard 64/130 Kb - it's a matter of time between parts). I like graphics (lower res means you can really draw), effect (that's it!), music - non standard approach to pokey sound, I like/promote it :)
I had the pleasure of watching this great demo during the party. You rule!
Mindblowing
New Generation - the name of the group is not accidental ;) Surely new generation of 8-bit Atari coding just came up. The bar has been raised really high. In addition to the code, of course, great graphics, colorful animations and varied music. Congratulations to everyone involved in the creation of this masterpiece.
Deserved winner! Great soundtrack and some awesome effects and animations for a 1979 computer platform!
That the demo rips the helmet off your head is a matter of course. But what's even more amazing is that they were working on 3 big projects at the same time. Amazing!!!
Speechless
wow that was just great to watch
holy moly!
Nice one guys... 💪🏻
Love the intro … and the rest of course too.
way too long regarding the number of effects. Anyway, it still deserves a thumb up
Well done guys! Awesome collection of nicely curated effects. great musics and well tuned special effects. Transitions are near to perfect. A new generation for sure.
1MB machines deserve such quality stuff. (However I wonder if you guys could release one day a 130XE version that would of course interrupt for loading the parts.)

A great production.
Nice visuals but next time find more competent composer, because this is just a barrage of cacophony.
That is freaking amazing.
Lovely!
Great show, even if a bit too long for my taste. The x-rotator 3D-stuff was definitely the highlight for me, really benefited from the palette of the XL/XE.
I just simply love it!
Great
Awesome prod.
Was wondering if it works as is on the stock machine or if it is needed to have double pokey, vbxe, and a Rapidus with the recommanded 1M memory extension ?

@p0ke: stock, but with 1MB of memory.
epic
Masterpiece!
Awesome
Great demo.... After all, XE/XL is a small Amiga :)
Amazing! Really a masterpiece... and nice to see a few od2 refs ;)
I think this demo may proudly be a succesor of NUMEN. At least, personally, I felt it like that and this demo is a new "the Atari demo".
Great themes, music, pixels, stories.
Not mentioning those amazig routines, solid vectors, rotor-zoomers. It perheps lacked a filled-rubber vector for me ;), but OK.
True, a little, a little bit too longish. In my personal opinion, it would have been better to put 2, 3 routines from here in to "I, Robot" demo, prevoiusly released in 2023, it would've equilibrate "I, Robot" and "Rewind2". But guyz! If that was the only "a problem" ;).
What else to say more, guyz...
Well, thank you for your effort. Thank you for supporting such a crazy and old machine. Also thank you to your families to let you and leave you alone (do not tell me you were coding that at work ;)) working on this production till the late, or early hours ;);).

I am massively intimidated with the vast amount of stunning effects;
maybe a bit too long which is watering down the amazing show a bit.
Anyway, a great and epic demo. I liked the texture mapped blue cube
and the greetings-on-the-bricks part. Marvellous!

Das ist fantastisch \o/
I had a pleasure to watch this demo live...what a stunning piece of art! It surely deserves to be called successor of Numen. Thank you for keeping Atari scene alive.
Well this was unexpectedly nice! Nice musics and graphics, parts were not showing for too long. Big pixels, good colors. It somehow had a similar feeling to old Smash Designs C64 demos - in a good way.
Lots of really good content. However, it does outstay its welcome a bit and the amount of low-res started to get weary on the eyes a bit. But, so many fantastic moments - I really loved the glenzy checkerboard stuff and the x-rotator.
Extra !i love it !
Impressive amount of work! It's nice to see such polished and polish demo ;) And an extra point for (a cover of) my favorite Gunship track.
Excellent.
SuperB!
What an outstandingand massive demo. A lot of graphics, music and effects. Transitions are superb! Super impressed, congratulations to the authors.
Definitely groundbreaking demo.
Even better lo-res graphics than in previous ones - nice to see it is still improved, seems to work with more layers etc.
Next big impression: zoom rotator scene during msx from Blade Runner End Title - amazing, also nice elevator animation, incredible 3d effects (textures, mirror), smooth animation of the blinking girl, transitions, also some known effect but on higher level shown in interesting way - this is most important that you made them look attractive, so this is more than just breaking another performance records, making every effort to make even greetings look interesting - all this work was worth effort and is really appreciated. Dynamic POKEY music which does don't kill ears :).
Big thanks for all creators and congratulations!

Long, but decent. :)
Great work on the graphics and animations! I tried running it in Atari800 for Mac with Ultimate 1MB expansion and got at least halfway through the demo before it went black screen with some farty sounds. I guess I'll have to watch on youtube later to see the rest.
Epic Demo!
Nice work!
It's good!
Great stuff!
Awesome! There is so much I could state to like the most, like the music of Neon Disco and truth to be told: low FPS can sometimes add to the vibe. <3
Amazing experience! So many parts, so much good looking stuff, so many breathtaking moments! Congrats!
Ton of content, cool effects and graphics. Not a fan of the cover songs and tired 80s nostalgia. That said, worth a thumb up of course.
Massive!
Amazing prod!!
Massive!
Great!
Got to add that all the x-rotator stuff in here is so sexy! Those colored floors that appears to reflect/refract the background checkerboard is so nicely done!
.
this demo was so long, my plants died
I had waited to watch this so I could really see it first on real hardware and CRT instead of YouTube/emulation. And I have to say the demo exceeded all expectations. This is an awesome team effort.
It's a bold move to use Graphics 10 for most parts. But sacrificing some luma to add chroma works great throughout the whole demo. It really makes the difference compared to the chunky effects of the 90ies. Using PM to increase the perceived resolution and overlaying Graphics 9 parts with player 5 missiles to add colors are very cleverly used.
The subpixel/texture stuff is just beyond everything I'd ever expected to see on the A8. Once more, it shows that adding people from a different background adds new ideas. The pseudo-3D bars with all the different forms and color schemes make the Atari chipset shine. Jay Miner would definitely approve of this demo.
Having the additional pixel GFX cut scenes and different soundtracks makes it all great journey. I watched it twice in a row now and does not feel like 18 minutes at all because there is just so much and many things are just on screen for few seconds. Esp. thanks for providing a mono version as my 1 MB machine does not have stereo.
I understand the end party does not loop because it was released for the party and needed a proper end. But that is really a pity, as the end tune gives me goosebumps. I guess it was done by Makary, his tunes tend to cause this with me most of the time.
Overall, the demo throws me back to my 20ies when there was unlimited time for coding Atari stuff and breaking limits. Pitty, there never were A8 demo groups here in Germany, and so nowadays, I have no teammates to do such things anymore. And so (as evil wrote above) I hate you for releasing something that cannot be topped unless you gather 30 coders/graphics artists and musicians for one year - but I don't write that publicly, of course, because you had me in the greetings ;-)

love the massive effort put on this prodiction (especially on graphics), some of the greatest 3d/x-rotator stuff i've seen on 8bit machines!
on the downside, it looks slightly rough on effect transitions and sometimes feels like multiple demos glued togeter in one, so it's a bit too long for me, plus you should't have to repeat that chunky rotozoomer too much (not to mention 1mb requirement which feels like a blasphemy from the speccy scene side, but i guess it's pretty ok for a8 :)
either way, an awesome production and one of the scene highlights this year!

I've said it before, and I will say it again: great Atari demo. It was a fantastic party as well, and I was thrilled to be there. I didn't expect such a massive production, but halfway through, I realized it was going to be epic. Thank you for mentioning me at the end. Respect to everyone involved. If I had to criticize something, it would be the last section with the credits. I think a pixel-perfect art/font could have been designed for this part (hi-res mode). My OCD is killing me on that aspect. Otherwise, congratulations to all! I gave it a 10 when voting. Amazing art and graphics, excellent music, and a pretty good flow. Top Atari coding as well!
Of course!
Holly! What a big superb demo! Congratulations!
these are 19 minutes of my life i'm not getting back and i don't want to.
Dope! A great return of Dante to demoscene after many years! Good job man! Dante (ex. Informer) was one of the best Polish Amiga coders of the old days.
holy wow! amazing!
impressive!
Super!
Great.
I've seen it at Lost Party 2024. Amazing!
Pozdro Dante!
Gave me chills when I saw it at the party

Bueno
Really cool demo
Więcej węgla!
One of the best production.
a bit long but very strong
Kewl!
A bit long, but well packed with effects and surprisingly colorful for an A8 demo.
Could be longer ;)
Great production for mem expanded Atari. Love the layered x-rotators. Gotta find out from you guys if these are anims just overlayed or realtime. Impressive demo overall!
great demo! also love the references ♥
best atari's demo i've ever seen. Dante!
Dante rulez!

solid prod
awesome !!!!
Cool piece of code!
