                        EaSTern eUR0pE in aTTacK !!!
                        """"""""""""""""""""""""""""

[hey hey wotz diz?]
===================
yeah folx, not only the mag comes to your hands from EaST, but intro too !!
Poland and Slovakia have the same boundary, cool ! =) So Coolgirls, Mystic
Bytes and Satantronic aren't only code-able ppl in our countries in 2002 !

[it lookz kinda crappy, izn't?]
===============================
yes, it is :-) You can't imagine that story behind this intro... phew...
Original (first) version was fully 3D - I mean mainly that 'chosneck' sign,
but it didn't look good... so I decide to use only 2D 'squares'... but I was
lazy to draw each part of 'chosneck' logo, so I use only first face... so
you see translated, 3D->2D projected, texture mapped PLANES :))) Stupid
idea, I know... and yes, you're right, it was min. 10x harder/longer to code
it as I tought :)) Eh, cool ideas rule...

[why itz s0o sl0w?]
==================
becoz of 3D->2D projection and realtime texture mapping ofcoz :))) I coded
it on my phantom-ed Falcon (25 mhz databus) and all was nice/fast/ok. Then I
tried on rgb, uaaaaaaah !!! So be happy it runs at least on this speed ;)

[bye by 030]
============
after some experiences I decided to leave 030 coding since it's incredible
SLOW. I mean mainly 16 mhz 16 bit databus, that's unusable. I know, I know,
ppl like Evil or Peylow did great things in their CPU demos, but remember
they are on the scene maybe 10 years and I'm still beginning. I don't want
to spend next 10 years killing every cycle in my routines to improve my
texture mapper etc... so I'm moving to ....... DSP ofcourse !!!!! What da
hell have you expected??? :-) Sonolumineszenz, Hmm... this is only
beginning. If you think code Tat/No presented is maximum what can be done by
DSP, you are so, so wrong !!! I'm REALLY impressed in risc architecture, do
you think 1 cycle muls is only 060's area? haha !! And coding on DSP has
another big advantage: you have free hands for design. This intro is ofcoz
holy shit, but I have a LOT of ideas, but they are unrealisable on 030
(since CPU has to do textures, rotations, etc)

[wot 'bout 060?]
================
ofcoz, I'll be (hopefully :-) owner of CT60, it's fantastic thing for MiNT,
appz, ported stuff etc. But I'm REALLY afraid about future of demoscene.
There will be no more limitations of cpu speed/bus, there will be a lot of
fastram, ... As someone (No/Escape?) said: competition can be done only with
the same conditions. 030/16 and DSP/32, that are that condiditions, aren't
they?

[usual stuph]
=============
ok, stop da crap, I have to thank following ppl:

MC Laser -- do you remember pal? YOU was that
                                      person who showed me ST demoscene, who
                                      sent me UCM12, who supported me with
                                      new scene stuff etc... thanx man !!!

EarX, Evil, No, Peylow, Ultra, ... -- for their hints/sources/patience by
                                      answering my lame questions ;)

Jookie and Xi of Satantronic -- for everything ! From help to
                                      your friendship! You're the coolest
                                      ppl I know!

all ppl writing coding tutorials -- I really love this stuff ! ;) (my
                                      collection is about 300 MB big this
                                      time :))

... and of course all YOU who keep our scene alive. Doesn't matter how, only
if you do it :) thx again !

[hw reqs]
=========
as I said, it was coded/designed (?) on Phantom/25 Mhz & VGA/100 Hz. On this
configuration this intro runs, let's say, nice :) Another thing is RAM,
you'll need about 3.7 MB free... so 4 MB users (wow, that's me ! =),
decrease your hdd cache at first!

Code -- MiKRO (I promise last shit release from my side :-)
Track -- Nula (cool bass music, this one keeps me away from dropping this
                 intro!)
Grafix -- Moonwalker/msb (btw if there is some free gfx man in tc/8bp, let
                          me know :)
Player -- yes, I am :))) OK, more seriously: New-Face/Exa (thx to No/Escape)
System -- Evil/DHS (it's great start for any newbie, but if comes DSP into
                    play, you'll need some modifications)

... and that's all. happy reading !
