fix me beautifull

category: general [glöplog]
it's not a debate, as these releases are clearly not assigned to the right group, we all know this by now.

First of all.... let me clear out that I haven't meet Hardy nor baudsurfer alive in person, not being personal friend or loving or hating any of them, but ignoring the problem is just silly and it put us where we are today.

Hardy is obviously a person with an "special" way of communicating, but that doesn't mean that he's not right. And it's been 2.5 years already... most of us would probably loose patience much sooner.

@sim, true, but... gloperators are also in charge to admin the scene releases database (=pouet). and since db is currently broken, e.g. wrong releases assigned to the wrong group, that needs to be fixed. it can't be done by you or me. (or Hardy)
regarding the meeting... it didn't happen for 2.5 years, so it probably won't for a while. plus, it's the RSI founder's choice to meet or not. (and it doesn't looks to me that they're on the "good terms" currently)

@havoc, so what you're saying that Hardy (or anyone) should create a new group e.g. "Baudsurfer's Red Sector", put here, in this thread, for you list of all the baudsurfer's releases, with a requests for those releases to be moved to this new group? the million-dollar question is, are you going to do/approve that and put an end to all this?

bonefish and all others: no! what i am saying is that we made this thread for one purpose only, and that is *direct fixes to prods*. anything else belongs in another thread! what's so hard to understand about that?

I'm with Havoc on this one; the issue is outside the scope of this specific thread. If there is argument to be had, I don't mind Pouet to be the platform for it, but not in this very specific thread that is basically a "maintenance shaft". This thread can be the place for actual changes once the discussion was had, but right now there's no reason for us to decide each way since there is no overwhelming evidence either way.

Word. :)

Make an extra thread if need be.

there are precedences how to deal with such "groups" over at CSDb: http://csdb.dk/search/?seinsel=all&search=fake+rebuild&Go.x=0&Go.y=0. but you guys are right, let's keep this thread maintenance-only.

Please delete the following entry:

http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=34679

It's a nonsensical placeholder entry that was imported during that brainless script-import by blkpanter years ago. Pirates was a papermag from the late 1980s - early 1990s, reaching 15 issues. See http://demozoo.org/productions/tagged/pirates_magazine/.

Ok, sorry, you know me, i got drunk and "found a solution" ;)
I (once again) did use this Thread wrongly! ;)
But it all made sense (in my drunk brain) when i posted in here!
I won´t even open ANOTHER thread about this shit!

Here´s an actual fixmebeautiful:

All of the prods of this Group since February 2013 are fakeprods, NOT actually made by this Group!
None of the contributors to these prods have been on any memberlist of this group, ever! Also this Group is dead since 1993 (c64) and 1991 (Amiga), with two exceptions, which have been party-stunts by actual ex-members!
Not really, they only cooped with another Group named Tristar and this CoOp ist still going on! But releasing under the RSI-Label is only allowed with acceptance of all members of TRSi on special occasions! (just for fun!)
@Hardy, you are TRSi and we are RSi.
Your ramblings do not honor scene spirit.
So give it a rest and do a demo about it.
fix ME beautiful, but here i go:
Baudsurfer: FUCK YOU! Come and get some!
fix HIM already! ;) Stupid, all of this, especially his attitude!
Isn't there already a better thread about this http://www.pouet.net/topic.php?which=9995&page=3#c499100

There is a problem with this prod: ... I downvoted it for not being compatible with Mac and a fixed version was posted. Now I'm feeling very remorseful and would like to re-vote that. (Is that allowed?)

Dear gloperators:

Notice that this seems to be a dupe of this.

Thanks for your time and help.

There are a bunch of defunct sites listed. Probably a good idea to get rid of some old cruft.

There is a problem with this prod:
1. This is not a ZX Spectrum release, but another fake release from VBI (check).

For now, "TS-Conf is not a Spectrum" citations were collected from the following people:
TS-Labs, psb, vbi, zek, Marisa Kirisame, Black Cat, Crash
Nicker, Amixgris, diver, Kakos_nonos, ShadowMaker, fyrex, Marq, random, sq, moroz1999
.

Note that VBI is also in the list. So he is aware that he makes non-Spectrum things but continues to spam his releases under famous ZX Spectrum label.

TS-Labs himself wants a separate platform for him but other FPGA demos never had their own platforms on pouet, they are all in Wild: found examples.

2. This demo wasn't in "zx demo" compo, there wasn't such a compo at DiHalt 2015 at all. There were "Combined 8-bit demo" (3 works) and "Enhanced 8-bit demo" (this only prod).
