Looking for demoscene graphics programmer !

category: general [glöplog]

Hi there,
I'm making a product, it's a synthesizer. It has a demo mode which will play some music showing the synth's capabilities.
I'd like to have nice demoscene-ish graphics while the song is playing, like particles moving in a 3D effect (I remember I saw someday a java applet which did 3D text and various shapes with balls, was very impressive), and maybe some bitmap-fonts to show credits to the team that worked on the synth, or any other effect that could be interesting.

The restrictions is that it's on an embedded system, display area 400*216, and no hardware acceleration you directly write pixels on the framebuffer.
There is about 300 Mhz of free cpu power to do that.
Would someone be interested into developing some cool graphical effects in C ? Or suggest me some existing open-source effects that I could use ?

Thx :)

It's worth having a look at projectM for a library of ready-made effects. Of course bespoke visuals are also valuable :)

Sounds like a cool project! Is the synth project a secret? Would love to know more about it.
Btw, iirc the korg nanlogue has a minigame you can play on its tiny oled screen. Fun stuff!
