Well, there are so many demo tunes I loved from the C64 to the PC, from sound chip to mp3... hard to choose any particular ones. So my fave authors would be, in alphabetical order:

Dr Awesome, Elwood, Jess, Kb, Legend, Little Bitward, Lluvia, Ludvig Linge, Mad Max, Maf, Mel Function, Moby, Necros, Purple Motion, Radix, Skaven, Tao, Wayfinder, Yolk.

I probably forgot some, but here are these that made more that one tune I like. A lot of one shots are around, but I like artists that happen to produce regularly good things I can enjoy :)

Ooops... =)

Of course I meant the good, the great, the talentuous Little Bitchard !

Actually I was so much wondering if I need to write Mel Function or Mel Funktion, that my fingers got the other one wrong.

My fave:

Hysteria by Audiomonster used in Virtual World by tomsoft

Cream of the Earth by Romeo Knight used in Revenge of Babbnaasen(Cebit 90) by RSI

Are my absolute all time favourites, nothing even comes close.

Also a fan of:

Mod from Closer/CNCD by Groo

Who Knows by Fleshbrain used in Bacteria by Crusaders

Astaris by Karsten Koch

Echoing by Banana used in Flight of Dreams II by Phenomena and 1 or 2 others.

Sunflower by Falcon used in Sunflower by Pulse

If you listen to nothing else in your life, Cream of the Earth is a must listen, and even with the really really really poor rip that is played back over Nectarine still rated 4.11 / 5. Hysteria i'd also recommend, 2 of the most important songs in Scene music history.

Uhm... Crescent Moon had awesome music. Just watch it with closed eyes, and I promise that it'll be a good experience ;)
Finally someone mentioned a TLS production (thx Skarab). I have to admit, the music of their Anytime is even better. Thx to Kezoomer for the Knallsaft147. :)
KEZOOMER ROCKS !!!!!!!!!!!

Skarab: Yeah, too bad "Anytime" was just a bit average due to coder's/grafician's "work". ;)
