@rc55:
do you accept remote "BITS Competition" entries?
added on the 2009-08-26 16:47:08 by martin martin
martin: yeah, go on. but try and do a real compo entry too. :)

how about you only accept a bits compo entry if it's accompanied by an entry to another compo? ;)

ps: what if bits themselves entered the bits compo? would they win!?

rc55: remote entries accepted for a BITS competition? Aren't you afraid to receive poo-packages, bottles of vomit and nasty stuff like that? :D

that one made my day :) thanks for sharing ! :D

anyway, if he attacks you, it is UK law that will apply and trial has to take place to the nearest place from you. (and it isn't me who says this, it is international justice treaties..) :) . it is always the law from the country where the person who is attacked is from which prevails.. so in a word, he doesn't even stand a chance.

The music on that one is kinda nice, actually.

Call me dull, but I think that organizing a compo at a demoparty for the sole sake of picking fun at someone is a bit over the top. I can somehow understand a prod picking fun at someone/something, but an entire compo...

I'm completely with Preacher on this one, when rc55 posted his responses in #ukscene i genuinely got the impression that he wasnt just offended by this competition, but also hurt, and thats a bit saddening.

I know he's annoying on this site and annoys the hell out of not just the users but the admin aswell, but he's never personaly attacking anyone.

Also forget the stupid threat of legal action we all knows he's batshit crazy and wouldnt even do it, he both times seems genuine while he's asking you not to do it, and somehow this compo feels all wrong, thats just imo, but you guys go ahead if thats what you want.

Doing a whole compo at his expense while he's defenseless against it and wasn't even consulted (ok that would have never happened anyway) leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, and i wont be part of it anyway.

I agree with with preacher.

SoLo seems strange but his demos are all kinda friendly- to match this with hostility I don't think is very nice. I would go so far as to say organizing a compo to make fun of him is hostile

keito, you big girl.

It's not making fun of him, it's a celebration of his unique style and awesomeness.
is that what you call it?

Well he seems uber excited by your "celebration" of his unique style, yay yay yay *throws hands around like a girl* you made him really happy, he's gonna love the cake you made him aswell.

Preacher: why shit couldn't have its moment of glory? Now that would be unfair!

And while the initial idea may have had no malic behind it, in the end it's a cheap and low way to bring attention to ones party, IMO.

Keito: why exactly should we feel concerned that one guy gives him the change at last after 5 years of obvious and hardcore trolling?
