Skrebbel, the danes are ALWAYS going down south, if you know what i mean

Yeah, but then there's the fact that you danes tend to go for the back entrance.

Keep waiting ;) But don't underestimate the orginizers role / project coordinator role in a group.

no worries, i'm sure it's impossible to underestimate that role! ;)

I guess if you have ever seen an oldschool demo with only one boring effect and a (way too fast or way too slow) scroll text that ends after 45 minutes, could imagine what his task is.

Since nobody reads Hugi (at least I don't do it for several years now) he can use his old texts and interviews and sell them as pretty new stuff to us. A "boring scroller interview" could even be counted as a world's first. (I have to admit I don't have an overview of this field, so there may already be such a release by another group.)
Rene: check out #36 than.. http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=54522

However we were talking about groups not diskmags..

@yeti: what 22 prods after which one? :)

Obviously fake. The female count is way to high, there are too few stinky, fat, unwashed nerds, …

Okay, the first, fouth and fifth person (all of them looking like they are males) are displayed in moves like they can't dance. I still prefer wAMMA jumpstyle:

madenmann: interview?! you mean, lazily copypasted question lists? :P

I thought this was obviously within the given context. ;)
good point, i clearly underestimated the depth of your cynicism ;)

no stress :p there WILL be a bus, but as I understood it, the danes were (somewhat) torn between norway and germany.

It's sad to see scene.org (awards) tear the scene in two from the one party that held us together the best just to satisfy its own and the gathering's needs. Perhaps the gathering and revision should coop-host the scene.org awards so the scene doesn't need to be teared apart.

Just go to germany already.

I think the scene.org awards are the least of the problems in deciding which party to attend. The obvious thing to do, would be to host the awards at one party and stream back and forth from the other, just like it was done last year where the ordience at The Gathering were gathered in one of the conference-rooms with direct uplink to Breakpoint.

If the officials from scene.org plan things ahead and stays up to date on who's going where, it would even be possible to have the prices where the recieving person/group is, and a representative present at each party. That's just a little logistics task, and everyone'll be happy.

The true issue is the fact, that this evidently leads to a feeling that you're passing out on half the cool prods this year rather than positively selecting the half, you get to see this easter.

Has a compo ever been held across two or more parties? Would require a little networking and expansion of upload-systems, but apart from handing over physical prizes, I don't see why it shouldn't be possible. That way, easter would definately be the scene world cup :)
