D.Fox: not sure if waiting for evoke only for a meeting with good old friends you know. Also, not sure if girlfriend will work. If yes, can't leave.
Say, I would not mind having DJ Hoffman on the stage again - that concert was bloody awesome last year!

Corial: We'll announce the concerts and acts in a couple of weeks. I can promise that the lineup will not be disappointing :)

(in a highly likely event that i won't get renewal of my international passport in time to get german visa) are remote entries accepted?

w23 : We do not accept remote entries for Revision, sorry. How about getting that new passport and coming to the Saarbrücken ? ;)

franky--: that's a sad story. will look for a representative then.
as for the passport thing, there is a pretty tight schedule for completing a rather lengthy quest on russian bureaucracy, that can get late some 3-5 months on things.

w23 : not wanting to sound too harsh here, but for individual compos (gfx, music, ...- you have to be present at the party, see http://www.revision-party.net/compos/general -> If you submit something, you have to be present at the party. No Exceptions..

In a group effort you could indeed have on of the cooperators to the production hand it in.

hi everybody!

we're currently planning the night shuttle for revision 2012 and wanted to ask for some quick feedback from those who used it in 2011 or wanted to use it but didn't.

  • were the departure times of 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00 fine for you? or would an earlier/later departure be more fitting?
  • do you think one of those was unnecessary? (e.g. the 2:00 or the 4:00 one)
  • were the busses too crowded or was there enough space for everyone?

and as some will probably ask: we're sorry, but having an around-the-clock service or additional busses during daytime is too expensive (but feel free to sponsor us with a few thousand bucks to make it possible ;-))

thanks for your feedback!

Never mind around-the-clock service or daytime busses, just add a few departures during the early morning and late evening. How about 00.00 and 01.00? Of course that doesn't mean that I want the late ones to go away, for me it's hard to know in advance how late I'll stay at the party place.

Hopefully my hotel is the nearest from party place, so it's easily reachable by foot :)

Btw, 01:30~02:00 seems to be a good choice, not too early, not too late :)

I took the 4:00 one and fell asleep and woke up when it arrived at my hotel, it was awesome! Don't ditch it, it owns. Earlier ones might be cool and I'm not sure if you had it last year (if you did, regard this as not being posted) but having a taxi number printed somewhere is awesome as well, I used a few taxis last year and that worked as a charm as well (and is relatively cheap!)

Yes, a service at the infodesk to order taxis for people would be great - I drove to the hotel each night, which was the only stickler in an otherwise great party!

I had the infodesk order me a taxi several times :)

I really think that you guys who stay at hotels for the nights miss some of the party atmosphere.. There's nothing better than the sound of 'guten morgen, guten morgen!' piece of crap song blasting from some bastard's speakers on the very morning :) +10 bonus to scener's egoism feat :)

haha... I agree kbi, its just that i am such poor shape that I cant handle booze + sleeping on the floor anyway :) I am simply too rich for such inconvenience :)

emoon: you're right. Thanks for the info - I've informed the tourism office about it. Looks like we'll be switching back to our own system again next year. Sorry for the inconvenience...
