Got the scale. Am I the only one having problems with the interface being sluggish and/or just wrong.

For example, the fat % "objective" I set changes drastically from the enhanced version of the dashboard to the standard version.. It's something like 14% higher on the standard version..

I actually don't use the dashboard. I just weigh myself and input the data on pounds-off - since it should be the same.

Leijaa: See it from the bright side: It's never been easier to drop 14% in body fat ;)

@Leeija: You mean the web interface? Yeah, it's really sluggish. :Q I also tried the iphone app, which was kinda weird, too. But I think there was a new one out now.

If you're talking about the Withings scales, the software that comes with it is total garbage. It integrates with services like RunKeeper just fine though.
DFox - a few suggesions for the demo viewer: it might be nice to be able to set some criteria for which demos you want to watch (while still keeping it random). This could be Stuff like...

* number of thumbs-up
* min. ratio between thumbs up / down
* only prods with 1 or more coup de ceur
* listed in all-time top 10/50/100/xxx
* only prods with scene.org awards
* only prods with more than 10/50/100/xxx comments
* prods from the range [year X] to [year Y]

this could quickly become too much hassle to set up, so maybe not all of these criteria are relevant, but for me personally, I think the "CdC only prods" flag would be neat, along with a year range selection

We're still waiting for the pool photos of D.Fox and want to see where his pounds went!
D.Fox is currently a gorgeous thin man! I saw him in the pool, he was slick like a dolphin!

I can see that I should join since im both fat and sad - these two things are not related though, so maybe I could join and be thin and sad.

definitely not given up - the weight total on pounds-off.me can attest to it

jenni: a fat dolphin maybe ;)

Mr. Dingo: well, thin and sad can be quite sexy - so it's worth a shot :)

I signed up a few days ago... nicely designed site and my discovery of it coincided perfectly with me reaching an "OMG I weigh what?" moment... Good to be joining you guys and hopefully I'll be smaller by Revision as well!

Ah yes, I still need to acquire a weighing device.

@BarZoule: You know, we actually have http://pounds-on.me as well and you can also set either gain or keep weight as a target... ;)

wysiwtf: which is always telling you that you're fat?
added on the 2012-10-22 12:09:15 by D.Fox D.Fox
dfox: yes, but only with the voice they use in this prod

Or even better - replace the "We are back" with "You are fat" in 1995 ... that way, you'll feel happy even though you're told that you're fat :D
