it's better than my japanese, that's for sure ...

I stumbled across this the other day, and it uses a couple of well known demo tricks :

http://www.heloli.com/Natsumi_in_Summer_Vacation.htm

it's not bad, if you can stand the J-pop music ...

Peeping on little girls in the bathroom is bad, mkay ?
Language barriers... aargh!. the asian world would be more accessable if we had universal translator matrices, or what ever they use in star trek.
I havn't met any japanese sceners.. hey, I havn't met any fellow sceners from my hometown others than those in my group... we are a rare kind ;)

If you open the meening of "demo scener" then there are many musicians. In europe there were the scene music trackers, in jp there were game music trackers.
Jpop is the hit!!! woo yay for Asia!!!

"Natsumi in Summer Vacation"

That was really really sweet, thanks (You know how much I like Japanese female teens voices in songs ;), demo is sometimes slow here, but with a better hardware that will rule, wow!

I am wondering if we can add this at Pouet. I don't know if it's from a scener or commercial but it's like a demo and one of the nicest I have seen since a lot =)

That Natsumi In Summer Vacation is really great! I love the Water effects and the scene where you can see the heat in the streat. ERh I dunno how to say in english... German = "hitzeflimmern"

I thought about adding it too, but since it's not really a scene thing and the music seems ripped I didn't

there's also a Natsumi in Winter Vacation:

http://www.heloli.com/Natsumi_in_Winter.htm

and a strange benchmark that has a demo mode aswell

http://www.heloli.com/NatsumiBench.htm

anyone find more kitchy japanese stuff like this ?

Wow! Interesting. I downloaded the demos from these groups and will watch them at home.

How was that crazy quote again? "Make kool shock to Japanische brains", or something???

I like to read fucked up English. It makes my day :)
I am wondering, which scene countries follow up after Japan. I think I had read some very funny english notes in a Polish C64 demo lately, also a friend has problems to communicate (and needs a second person to translate Polish english :) with some people from another C64 group ;). I had one funny Hungarian contact too. My english are preety weird when I am drunken too. French sceners might be able to write few stuff in English, but it's funny when trying to listen them talk =). No offense, it's good that people prefer English, as long as 99% of the times I can easilly understand what they want to say, just funny how some people talk or write English and I love it :) - (And don't say that my English suxx! Why do people always believe this? I hate this but I don't care. My English sound the same fine as most of the people in here!!!)

I think that if there is something that people brag about my english, this must be my syntax. Perhaps it sounds like I am translating phrases directly from greek. But it isn't bad. I almost don't notice it and perhaps other people are doing it and people don't notice. But it's not something that is so crazy bad. Some people where arguing about someones else English, but I also didn't noticed that on her writtings before they started. Her english sounded fine. Mine too. Who cares about little changes in syntax and texts written in a haste? Blah :P

we don't care optimus! just as long as you write long, uncomprehendable and interpunctionless posts, nobody minds :)

Good point. But what does "interpunctionless" means anyways? ;)
