Demos in 3D?

category: general [glöplog]

Are there any demos you can watch in 3D? I know of Numb Res which uses the old Red/Green method, but are there any which use the new side by side or top/bottom method?

http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=17645... but that's old red/green method again. Nice prod, though :).

If you have some 3d glass system (like nvidia glasses and compatible monitor/projector), you can watch directx9+ demos in 3d just by enabling it in the driver.

The nvidia drivers let you use red/blue glasses with any monitor too, but that's rather horrible, really..

I'm rather pissed that nvidia disabled the automatic handling in OpenGL and pre-dx9 apps that they already had like 10 years ago..

For pre-2.0 opengl, you can use an opengl-to-directx wrapper DLL to watch with the 3d glasses.

I'd love to play some dx7 games with the 3d glasses. They would be light enough to render at 120Hz without any issues, at least.. =)

and there are some youtube captures with 3D (numb res/that asd demo/debris), but they're generated based on the "2D" video i guess, so not-so-good either.
Most demos work fine with 3DVision.
