- demo Amiga AGA Massive by Skarla
- The vocals were cheesier than I remembered, and the renderer less massive than I remembered, but I think there's room for these high-end 060 renderers, and it does a fairly good job at it.

- demo wild SNES/Super Famicom Unflavoured Stock Cube by Otomata Labs
- The screenshot looked quite uninspiring, and indeed it's five minutes of that single effect, but the intro works really well with the (non-SNESy) music and all.

- demo Windows Threads by Suspend [web]
- This doesn't work for me at all. As others have pointed out, there's a huge music disconnect. But also, it just seems so… artifacty? I don't know if the shimmering sprites in highlights+reflections is a bug or some design choice that doesn't rhyme with me, but if you're making a demo called “Threads”, your threads better look good and now they're screaming for proper antialiasing. (Also, they seem to somehow be growing in a lower frame rate than the actual rendering?) Also, the highlights just blow out the frame completely, so either a) don't do it, or b) apply some tone mapping. :-)

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Cockbusters by Ghostown
- It sort of feels like a jokeprod, except it has good effects. Both recordings I've seen struggle a bit with sync, though; not sure if that's a recording/emulation artifact or just how the demo is.

- demo Commodore 64 Don't Be Square
- Trippy. The sync helps the prod greatly.

- demo Linux Windows Karl Bauhaus by Carl B
- The GitHub “evoke24” branch compiled and ran just fine on my Intel laptop (after I installed libvulkan-volk-dev libvulkan-memory-allocator-dev glslc; evidently, libvolk-dev is something else entirely), but after the initial particle scene there was only a black screen with music.

- demo PICO-8 The Mind by Haujobb & SWEET16
- Really nice Pico-8 prod! A bit repetitive near the end, but classic DOS style.

- 4k Windows XO by Nuance [web]
- OK, that is creepy stuff.
I wonder if this is the kind of intro that would work better in 24 fps than 60? - rulezadded on the 2024-08-24 20:26:20
- 64k Windows We float here by Architect
- What Preacher said. I think the biggest problem of this intro is that it's supposed to be around fluids somehow (at least the title hints at it, and the scenes also seem to be building up to that), and the fluids… don't really look that good. You can see the popping and the low resolution and nothing really behaves like you would expect any fluid to behave. But yes, definitely good for a first prod. And good to see I wasn't the only one seeing the similarities (in a positive way) with “Clean Slate”.
