- demo BBC Micro Mode Infinity by CRTC
- Really nice to see more BBC micro demos been made. I didn't realise it could achieve such effects compared to more popular 8-bit machines.
Big thump up! - rulezadded on the 2013-09-09 10:55:48
- intro Commodore 64 Allow Me!
- @Weyland: You're right... the screenshot makes it out that all the borders are opened, which they aren't really. ;)
@numtek: No group was actually involved. This was more of a co-op production between 3 sceners... me, Celtic, and PVCF. - isokadded on the 2013-08-28 22:06:50

- demotool Commodore 64 Sadotracker by Covert Bitops [web]
- Made a few old tunes out of this! A really good music tracker and easy to use!

- demotool Windows MadTracker 2.5.0 RC6
- Hmmm. I used to use this tracker a lot back then (between 2003-2007) and I found it pretty useful for my own needs. But, I can understand why sceners hate it... the standard vibrato/portamento effects are very fucked up compared to standard Fast-Tracker/Milkytracker. Plus you need a pretty decent computer to make use of VSTs. ... and the commercial thing is pretty lame too.
Other than that, it's a very good tracker, despite Milkytracker is miles better! - rulezadded on the 2012-07-06 12:17:46
- cracktro Commodore 64 Intro / CRD
- This was my entry to a "Facebook Oldskool Cracktro" compo... no actual results so far. p.s. I don't use Facebook anymore, so perhaps this ia an illegal entry? ;)

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Megademo 3 by Northstar & Fairlight [web]
- I have a massive essay of things to say about this classic, but I'll try and keep it short as possible. :)
Apparantly, this was the very, very first demo that ever got passed my 3 and a half year old retinas, back in Easter of 1990! Me and my sister were just completely awestruck with what we were seeing on our father's TV screen, with all them scrollers, bobs, coppers and other unusual stuff you don't see in the games of those days!... not to forget the great tunes! After watching this, along with a lot of old C64 demos a few years later, I had a huge crush on the older computers that I still love today. I would have never been interested in the demoscene at all if it wasn't for these demos.
I recently had another watch of this classic (thanks Motion/GMI for helping me set up WinUAE etc)... it still amazes me today, where the Commodore/Amiga scene initially started from, and how much amazing stuff has come out since! In particular, I find it amazing that someone like Mahoney, went from that attractive "Blue" part in this demo, all the way to the exceptionally amazing stuff he's brought out on the C64 recently, like Cubase64 and Storebror for example. I'm not spiritualist, but hell he's still got the fucking spirit in him!!!
I was also saddened over hearing about the death of Atom. That guy made some really great parts in this demo too.
I can go on and on, but as I want to keep this comment short... I'll just finish it off with a MEGA THUMB UP to this MILESTONE CLASSIC ! Thank you North Star and Fairlight for the great memories! - rulezadded on the 2012-06-02 10:06:30
