Eyecandy with some well fitting music. GOAN watch!
added on the 2004-11-01 by René Madenmann
The introduction reminds me of Shadow of the Beast somehow ;)

Excellent music.
added on the 2004-11-01 by keops
A piggie because it looked and sounded like 1999. Except for some of the background texture, that just looked like 1991 amiga :)
added on the 2004-11-01 by Mr Twist Laser
3D wires are ugly, 2D composition and overall pace is good
added on the 2004-11-01 by r3D^rgba
Finally some classy japanophile stuff again.
added on the 2004-11-01 by tomaes
Everybody throw up your hands in the air, JosSs Da BosSs and Yero D is back in the house again!

Fucking great. Brilliant flow (sadly interrupted by uuugly swap-lag spikes), great graphics, kickass tune... and hell, they even synced the stuff properly!

Sector Omega => TEH BIG ROX
added on the 2004-11-01 by Gargaj
cool train "effekt", you guys reminded me to never render 3d without fucking it up really good with postprocessing effects, 3d looked like crap, but the karate-scene var really great. music was shit, but a rather weak thump up
added on the 2004-11-01 by quisten

Good. I like the intro especially.
added on the 2004-11-01 by Shanethewolf
allright design, very unimpressive codewise, and not that entertaining.
  added on the 2004-11-01 by L--- G-aga
design didnt appeal. piggie
added on the 2004-11-01 by Maali
very simple.

I wonder WHY THE FUCK people uploads prods without permission of its authors... I had to fix some things, and then i would upload it to pouet... BLAEH..
added on the 2004-11-01 by yero
It was on the ftp of scene.org, maybe uploaded from the party organizers...
Anyway, you stil can fix it and your final will be linked.

A great example of what to do when you don't have stellar effects. Great design, great flow, awesome music and nice feeling overall. Big thumbs up <3
added on the 2004-11-01 by elsewhere
very ugly/empty.
added on the 2004-11-01 by gloom
i find this demo really amusing, great tune, nice graphics, and much effort put it
overall: ROX
added on the 2004-11-01 by tsw
put into it, bleh :)
added on the 2004-11-01 by tsw
GREAT... except for the wireframe :D
added on the 2004-11-02 by Jcl
The flow is there but you have to improve on the design, this looks a bit empty. And yeah, it still has the same ugly wireframe as Mirages.
added on the 2004-11-02 by zoom
Heck Yeah
added on the 2004-11-02 by Mike 3D
the pros :
+ design
+ 2d layers
+ music

The cons :
- Unfinished 3d
- Ugly wire frame ( really )
- massive use of basic photoshop filters.

So well thumb up anyway ... cool demos are rare nowdays... and effort should be rewarded.

damn, this was shit
added on the 2004-11-02 by kusma
nice demo once again!
added on the 2004-11-02 by ps
boring and static. no effects, cheap music, bad design. Nice idea though
added on the 2004-11-02 by Duckers
yo ;)
added on the 2004-11-02 by las
I liked it. Nice mood and lots of style. I would like to see more/better code in the future (maybe having only one man making all gfx + code is too much, imho).
added on the 2004-11-02 by utopian
Didn't tickle me under my feet. Sort of okay, but 'empty' and didn't wow me at all. And unlike some other comments here, I didn't like the opening.
added on the 2004-11-02 by thom
Great progress over your previous stuff. I even see you have a new and interesting demosys here, let's see what you do with it next time :)
Thumbs up for josSs's music and yero's insane work doing the rest.
added on the 2004-11-03 by ithaqua

added on the 2004-11-03 by Thenend
is ok. piggie.
added on the 2004-11-03 by stm
What the heck kind of problems do I get around? (In 2 diferrent netcafe PCs, but I will try at home now). After the loading bar, it just quits ;P
added on the 2004-11-03 by Optimouse
not especially surprising or espectacular, but have to give it a second chance, the design it's cool and marvelous, nice cameo of the petroleo. It's a fact that japanesse characters and aesthetic never had nothing to do with me, anyway thumbs up, second BIG and SERIOUS attempt from Sector Omega, KEEP up GUYZ!
added on the 2004-11-03 by JaK
Well, for the ones who complain about the demo crashing after loading and so.. I've released the final version, which is the one I wanted to upload to pouet, if people didn't upload others' releases... I've mailed pouet's org to change the download link, but there's still no answer.

Anyway, the correct link to the final demo is: http://sectoromega.scenesp.org/files/sectoromega-nagatabi.rar

The bug consisted on QueryPerformance buggy returns, so if somebody finds a similar error while coding, just mail me and I could provide info about the problem...

I'd like to thank Shash, pK and Sole for their huge patience, and help to test the thing. Greets to JosSs, who made a great job this time, in a real hurry, and sorry to the ones who think it is a poor demo (you should've seen the other bcnparty prods.....). Anyway, see you at next BCN Party, 101! :)

ieAH good demo and good music. Finaly i can watch it ;)
added on the 2004-11-04 by pK
I have finally seen it. Code is quite simple. But I like the scrolling trees/city in teh night, simple but atmosphere I like..
