Some of the most creative ideas ever in a C64 demo. Very long (fills up 2 disk sides) with all kinds of music, effects, and pics.

Emulator note: Crashes at the title screen. Use the included "leg requester" and choose "Bouncing Lens" to see the rest of Side 1 and "Welcome Back" for Side 2.

Yeah. I wish I had a real C64! I have seen the parts from that menu,. but it would be better I could see it from the beginning till the end..

Great fx! Many 3d dots, gouraud shading, twisted bar and more!
added on the 2001-03-08 10:52:51 by Optimus Optimus
Without any doubt, one of the C64 highlights of that year.

This was first c64 demo I watched for a long time and I was really impressed when saw , what can be done on 0.9mhz computor.
A great one.

this is my winner for symmek'2k. all the respect to Crest, but imho this one symbolises the true oldskool soul of c64 in a modern performance... or how else to express this using clever words ;D
it got design, music, effects, graphics, all good and some innovative. a must see for all c64 unbelievers!
added on the 2001-05-14 01:02:24 by raver raver
Yeah, together with the Crest demo, it showed that the C64 is not THAT dead, actually.

It's only really sad that "oldschool spirit" seems to mean "bore the viewers for half an hour". Which prevents my thumps up rating, somehow.
added on the 2001-07-23 18:04:54 by kb_ kb_
kb, its not boring, even thought it stuck for a while at some places. it's not as dynamic... simply not the "party-type" demo. its for home watchers. armchair, tea, joint and old long megademos makes my day!

And Bizk, it's starts to get annoying with your photos. This is a review-site, not a picture gallery.
rulezadded on the 2001-12-11 10:16:00 by tomaes tomaes
tomaes: imho a picture tells more than for example a "vote" or a "this rules" or a "this sucks" etc.

annoying, come on really :)

just watched this on a real C64 for the first time... incredible effects... embedded in a truely coherent flow, not one-after-another. certainly one of the best c64 demos ever!

a demo consisting of like 80% transitional effects - but no complaint since they're really nice, and so are the "real" fx.

the transitions alone are worth two thumbs up. so many cool overscan effects. great zooms, chunky effects. music rocks as usual.

too bad about the endless greetings here and there.

the sun and moon shadow screen is the best shit ever. i also liked the gunhedda anim :) the windows + parallax background confused the hell out of me. (the end is more confusing?)

all-in-all: rocks hard!

Yes, in fact of that this demo is different from others.
Funny, CRAZY, colorful design, great set of thrilling visual effects and... short love poem in Polish at the end!

Quite inconherent in terms of content, but there really went a lot of ideas and work in the transitions. Overscans, blending effects and end screen are really nice.
