I think dynamic demos are maybe a bad idea at this point. The fast random scene switching is a Bad Thing, not a Good Thing. Still, I have to give credit for the work that went into this piece, and the elements of design that surfaced in the chaos.

I have mixed feelings about this one. On the other hand, it's just randomized effects and scenes put together. But on the other, I really like the visual appearance, and in the compo it was in a league of its own.

humf. this isn't the final version... it might appear at some point.

Looks and feels nice and really ruled at the partyplace, but isn't really something you would watch for several times. Music could have been more dynamic. Also those slow parts where motion seems to stop bother me somehow.

It feels completely computer generated and like its missing a human touch.

It also feels like it is going nowhere. It's just a load of pretty patterns.

Please, no more!

i have mixed feelings about this prod aswell.
on one hand im much into exploring machine randomness vs human emotion exploration, on the other hand i see many of the mistakes that should be avoided (the unprovoked rand() abuse mainly)

while the demo looks like kaka on many ocasions, there are a few streaks/sequences that really do touch me, which would reason that the whole point of the concept is working properly after all.

on the other hand, fake dope mode is quite 2000... not new to me and not that exciting to witness anymore unless carefully designed, which this seems to not quite be _yet_

so, i'm waiting for the final.

wait! dynamic? do you mean random? ah, ok! well.. try again with something less random.. quite nice .3D files anyway.

If the goal was random timing this is a ten. Running it multiple times only made it worse. :/

hehe, quite interesting style. makes me feel sick in some scenes. anyway, nice abstract idea :)

it crashed after one minute, maybe due to the randomness? nice effect ;)

I cannot decide whether this is good or bad. At least it's something different, ok from time to time.
to many abstraction kills abstraction

$x! like the idea of dynamic demos really much, and this one is the best attempt i've ever seen... just watched it three times, and two times it crashed at some strange point. the error message was like a part of the effect ... no, it really works for me ;) but there's still much territory to explore..
think it's much harder to do well than movie-like demos, but demos aren't movies, right? so, how can there be (non random) expression without any fixed decisions? mhh... nice prod, thx mfx :)
