Mekanisaatio 97 ? I don't think so. :)

It was Mekka & Symposium 97, and though only half finished, it rocked on the big screen... that envmapping on the robo babe looked just too realistic :)

That robot lady was quite cool, yes. the beginning of the demo make me yelp and hide behind a chair, but wow... =)

Full & heavy 3D, flyby, nature + temples + robots (eeek), long and not always interesting... but everyone was loving it ;)

Well, the look of the demo is quite cool, but the sound is taking it down a bit. The demo is probably not so well known nowadays.

Why can't I get that robobabe people mention? I think I haven't seen here when I ran it yesterday. It started with some lights like in cinema, an ancient greek temple, someone throwing a spear and stuff. But no robogirl, NO!!!

I won't thumb it up, till I manage to see that robogirl. Perhaps my memory was low and some parts were skipped? Or VESA???

optimus, probably you are watching the party version, that is 2mb smaller than the final.

But that's the only version I can either find in http://www.demology.tk/ or the link above or scene.org!!! Where can I find the full one???

One of the few decent italian prods... still tremendously cheesy, but impressive nevertheless.

I LOVED this so much in the past years...this was the first demo i watched (some gaming-related italian magazine spoke about it...ah, those were the times :( )....well ,impressive. Very impressive.

An overestimated demo IMHO, atleast I never got it. It probably looked quite ok on a fuzzy bigscreen but on a monitor it is a bit ugly (ugly colors and textures and shaky polygons) and the music isn't that good either. I do admire the amount of work that must have been put in it though...
