before you start whinning on why its an intro if its 33megs, its an intro to an upcoming musicdisk.
we decided to release this little intro at breakpoint for the sake of contributing something to the cool party. was not released in any compo since the time limit was too big for any of them. was played on bigscreen somewhere before the opening ceremony on first day.

It was very interesting on the bigscreen. And perhaps this is how to deal with Ambient and Expirimental stuff anyway; not in the compos. I mean, chances are it's not going to win (not a big party) and then people who WANT to view it (i.e. people with some clue as to how) can try, and there will be others who will be introduced to it as a result. And the rest can get more beer or something.

As for the production itself, well, as I've said a million times, scrollers rule.
sgt: yeh, i totally agree. compos suck for these kind of prods.

the sound is a perfect emulation of a train stopping.

The only question I have is: Why does this have to be so long? Maybe there is an artistic reason for this, still I don't see that. No really, I'd enjoy that much more if it was shorter, about 3 minutes. Apart from that it was really interesting to watch. I've never seen something like that before, and it was quite interesting to see... yet I got a little distracted after some time.

music was done prior to the visuals.
it was 18 minutes long, why would we butcher it?

totally cool, i've really enjoyed it... so *thank you*.
really waiting for the musicdisk now.

as a sidenote: i also agree with sgt :/ but compos at smaller parties can still be suitable to enjoy these prods at their best imho

Marcipanbrød, nej tak - folkemord, YES SIR!

Btw, what does it need to run, I desperatly tried running it on like 6 different laptops at our table at bp05 with various cards from gforce 2 go over geforce 3 ti-something to intel something, and none of them were able to run this beauty.

requiring 1280, calling it an "intro" at 33 megz (and even saying "before you start whining.."), looking like the drivers are fucked up or something... this
one would have failed even as a 4k intro.

an insult to the demoscene.

I think there's a difference between challening an audience and hurting it!

Music should always hurt the audience, .. add even more pain in it next time ...
