Arte rocks, and bonus Chaos dancing to it. I mean, where else besides the scene can you get this sort of thing?

That was fucking great, one the finest points of one the best parties, and i'm very happy that there's a recording of that. Unfortunately, the sound quality is quite bad... and, 22khz encoding? why on the earth???!
added on the 2005-06-22 by blala
i guess one of the major mistakes there was that we forgot to record it on a mini-disc or something... the camera mic is not that amazing!

anyway... stay tuned, cause we are coming back!

Really great adaptions of these tunes, and some great playing. But if you're going to use a Variax, at least model some good bass tones, especially those fitting the original tracks! Hmmph...

what's a Variax? what's your nick? what's BASS?!
added on the 2005-06-23 by jeenio
troll: i think the bass was actually unfx'd, afaik it was directly plugged in the mixer (i'm not sure of that)

Gargaj, and that's the problem! It's meant to be a modeling bass, it's natural tone is horrible! And as far as I recall, only has piezos in the bridge.

Sorry, just being the usual bass playing tonehead that I am.

troll: I'm unsure that any of us was aware of that at that point... probably except for Knuetzler though. (As it was his axe.)
A related sidenote might be that we never even saw that bass before the soundcheck/gig, 'cos we rehearsed with the other one which was an Ibanez K5.

it was a line 6 bass. it rocks. it has lots of preset sounds, already modelled. but yeah, i bet you can do much better, so i will see you on stage, right? :)

Jeenio: If I ever make it all the way over there, you bet your ass.

Yesterday night I was discovering that video with my good old friend Traven, he was so surprised when his old track "Groovin' Malon" was played !

rez: and...? was he happy with the result?

hoOo yes, he was absolutely amazed by the result ! ...and has to listen again to realize it was really HIS music played by "real" musicians :)

jeenio: and to be honest, I was a little bit jealous :D
please, try to choose to cover one my song next time ;)

rez: you were a few days too late....... :)

anyway, the future of ultrasound is a bit uncertain now. as you can probably imagine, it's a lot of energy, effort and money spent. the return we have is your happiness and enjoyment, and that's good, but we would like to have some fun too.
