Despite it's simplicity, I really liked this. Presents those cube shapes with such a nice feeling/music/sync.

Good job, imbusy, glad it turned out so nicely. Seems like it was well worth the effort, eh? :)

These great visuals would have deserved a good music though.

Kinda ugly, but the idea is nice so who cares if it's ugly.

A little short, a little simple, but that's the beauty of it i guess.
added on the 2006-08-25 by zoom
A little short, a little simple, but that's the beauty of it i guess. I was hoping that the tight sync at the beginning would last for the entire demo though. Nice nevertheless.

Different
added on the 2006-08-27 by keops
I like the way it focuses on its effects and doesn't try to overlay a million layers of stuff like many other demos do. Contains some cool ideas. What I don't really like is the way the movement of things always goes moving->stop->moving->stop-> etc. Would be nicer if it was more fluid.
added on the 2006-08-27 by jua
nothing special, liked the music though. welcome to demoscene anyway :)
added on the 2006-08-27 by shadez
interesting. i like where it was going but was hoping for it to build up to something more.
added on the 2006-09-20 by blackpawn
original. I was wondering if it was artistic or pants , then you did the negative space cubes at the end and I knew, for me at least- artistic. Much better than 9th. I like it a lot. Good music too.
added on the 2006-09-29 by auld
nice idea but the whole thing is nothing special...

hated the motion stopping all the time, but nice visuals otherwise. damn excellent music, but hey, it's xerxes so what else could we expect.

So people are still so clueless that they think it's in any way harder to compile the code to 64k and then they go make so fucking idiotic remarks about it.

On other words I second rainmaker.

Very nice. Loving xerxes' music. It's short and kind of "empty", but so beautiful and original...
added on the 2007-01-23 by wullon
A beauty.
added on the 2007-02-20 by Yemeth
Clean simplicity and effectiveness of the idea. The animations are very nice, the music is sweet and I had an overall feeling of something familiar and sweet. Very chilling :)
Stay on :D

Congratulations to Imbusy and Xerxes on winning the scene award for breakthrough performance of 2006. Lovely production, no doubt!

clean!
added on the 2007-08-31 by zeebr
quite nice but damn simple. still, i had to watch the party version because the final is terribly slow here, a frame every ten seconds (wtf?). even the partyversion is slow but watchable. xp, x1400, core2.
added on the 2007-08-31 by rmeht
even more strange since i remember watching this on a crappy SiS gfxcard and it runs like a charm...
added on the 2007-08-31 by rmeht
+good music
+some nice ideas
- quality of fx is really low
- approximately no gfx

Also, not very visually appealing.

great demo, but i had the same problems like rmeth.. my config : xp, coreduo, gf7600go

I found an issue with all my demos. It has a timing bug so the demos are best seen after a windows restart.
