and only works in opera 9. the introduction was funny. but not a real demo, and not really a 8k.

hmm.. interesting. why doesn't it work in other browsers? Seems proteque has started making music. Didn't realize that. Not a bad tune either.

So what kind of performance can we get from Operas SVG player?

Other browsers haven't implemented all of the stuff it requires.

However, I'll add some work-arounds for FF:

- disable music (no Audio() support)
- needs a stupid hack to start it and show proper styles as it doesn't seem to support the projection media
- it seems to bug in respect of initial position of bubbles (fied by reordering order of style and appending to DOM tree)
- FF doesn't support innerText, creating an explicit TextNode now.
- FF doesn't seem to apply newly added stylesheets to existing document elements (no work around yet, fscked web2.0 scene)
- Canvas just gives me an Exception in FF, no idea why...

Uploaded updated version, unfortunately still crap in FF ;/ I won't spend much more time on this though. If you want to help out send me a diff.

So you need 11mb for a 10hz 3d starfield and a jerky scroller. Can't wait for poi's comment on that. :P

The prod is not my cup of tea and has too little variation, but kudos for mixing many standards.

tomaes: :) no comment but a prod in project.

@tft
We in the D.U.S.T subgroup of TUFS refuse to have anything to do with TUFS! Revolution!

@tomaes
Oh he already laughed at the code and prod a long time ago ;) Btw. the starfeld is 5k with comments and long var names,some lousy scene handling et al. The music is 11MB by itself unfortunately. (using .WAV with Audio() go nag the WHATWG for OGG support ;)

@p01
If anything, it's rather, not your cup of café au lait et croissant ;-P
