Yes, that’s quite cool. I didn’t like the screen-shot very much, but the animation looks really great! And of course thanks for the source code – this weekend I had a lot of fun playing around with shaders for the first time, reimplementing several of the last century 2D effects. After playing with several fractals, functions and effects I appreciate the 1k even more because it takes some time to find/invent, implement, animate, style and optimize functions that they look that nice as shaders in an only 1k C application. Big Thumb Up!!! (btw: was it your own function or did I missed an interesting webpage?)

@admiral
The function is my own but its fair to say it was a fortunate effect rather than one I designed. Yeah doing 1k shaders is fun and challenging. Gpod luck with that, I hope to see one of yours soon!

@auid: finding an own nice looking, shader performance friendly function with a new look/style is worth an extra Thumb Up - even if it was by accident :) ...

auld: 32-bit Windows XP Pro. SP2, all updates, Audig2 ZS, Athlon 64 4600+ (939), 2 GB of RAM, GeForce 7950 KO (512 MB; PCIE), etc.

Hmmm ok I've redone an exe specially for you ant. I'm unsure about the 64bitness of your PC, but I think this might help with the nvidia drivers for 7950. Please let me know if this is better for you. Thanks for your help.

dla, do you have nvidia hardware? If so try the exe I did for ant just above, it might help. Good luck ;-)

Cool!

admirals comment shows that you cannot completely appreciate a 1k, 4k or 64k intro until you really try to make one yourself :)
