bah, if i didn't miss anything, this is only a borig something... 90% of available 256byte intros show something better.

Yay, works under win2k... however, it's a tad boring. When you only have 512 bytes your single effect had better not be boring (:

Also, the screenshot doens't really appear to be from the demo, as on my platform, it never does the raybeams... just the elipse. This could be due to win2k - and it could also be why it's boring - in that it's b0rked.
Impressive

Too simple, even for a 512b

According to the name, this demo should shine radiantly and be respledent, it is neither.

It would be decent with the raybeams...

A low level bug or a fake screenshot?

..mistery unveiled: it's a low-level bug, runs perfectly in DosBox!
It's cute!

calm down broderick... the effect is dull for 512b and there's no FDT, not even a texture.

and please... stop crosslinking your fav prods in other prod comments while being totally offtopic.

Am I wrong? :|

But pheraps I can see your point; in fact when I readed your comment/reply I thought: "now I'm going to take some screenshots and post that to pouet, in fact the effect is NOT dull and THERE IS a texture".

So I downloaded the prod and ran DosBox and... Surprise!! O_O The effect looked fucking dull as stated in some of the above comments.

There HAD to be something wrong, sh*t, I remembered that so WELL!

Then after a bit of desperation I got a suspect... the processor under wich DosBox is running!

In fact I was running DosBox on my NB (a Centrino), but the last time I saw refulgence I was on my desktop (a Pentium 4).

So I went to my good'ol desktop and... here below you can finally see the result of my efforts :]]

( After all this I suppose my next CDC will be this prod... *8] )

I feel a bit Optimus now...

phew.

you would cdc a prod that produces at your pc only an effect that it is not supposed to show? (sounds like rude 512b memory addressing has a prob on your machine, nothing else)

have you ever experienced really HARD stuff in HALF the size like pouet id 3397 or 4659 ? well.... ok, you changed your opinion now, i guess. point. word.

try 256b.com btw ;)

I know well 256b.com & baze's prods, they rock hard (also Assembler BOT's ones are cute)! :)

The cdc would be for the little "adventure" I had in trying to run that (and btw for the effect itself that imho looks great).

Effectively this nice prod seems to be a Bit particular in hw requirements to run correctly as it can be clearly seen watching some of the above comments.
I would also state that the raw memory adressing in that could have shown a little leak (it's really a leak?) in DosBox'vm implementation in relation to different underlying CPUs.
But who cares now?

Cheers =]

ok, you need 85kb for an stoopid emboss. browse other prods, thread closed ;) too much beer currently to feed the trolls.

pieni piggy
emboss...

btw altervista seems to fuck up external links to the hosted contents sometimes. Or it's pouet. Or it's the browser. Or wtf.

Troll? I'm stating things pertinent to that prod and to it's visualization issues.

Fucking COOL, im my eyes! Quite sophisticated animation, has the end, DAZZLING. One of the best 512B intros for sure.

Unfortunatelly works wrong under Windows XP, also wrong under DOSBox (0.72). Uses the same technique as diz (256B) and Stratium (128B).
