dunno.. on the other hand there are many great songs, but for me it feels like that xerxes is somehow repeating himself in this volume. many of the tunes have the exact same mood as some previous ones, and while this is not necessarily a bad thing, the repetition is just too much if you compare all the chillosophies. tho being a (tracker) musician i understand the size limitations a musickdisk poses in regards to the stuff you can do sample-wise.. so i guess piggie this is, despite some kick ass-tunes like singular sines and thematics.

thank you for kind words, griip! i agree that there are certain limitations to sound when each tune needs to be 200-500kb in size. however, i disagree with the fact that "repeating yourself" needs to be a bad thing. this notion that a production needs to be unique everytime is some sort of "scene" imposed idea.. listen to the works of kitaro.. or tangerine dream.. or biosphere (the god of ambient music).. there is very little variation, only different ideas around the same sound.

in many ways.. it is more difficult to reproduce the "same" sound in different ideas then just spitting out something completely different everytime. at least i feel the overall quality often takes a big hit in these cases.
