1st one: blatant ripoff of fr-016b, you changed ONE WHOLE BYTE... woa, i'm impressed.
2nd one: B0 13 CD 10 C5 2F D9 E8 D9 17 D9 FE 43 EB F9 - better understand what you're copying
3rd one: 95 BA 08 01 CD 21 EB F9 6B 62 20 73 75 78 24 - and btw, I coded most of the fr016

and btw, before you try to be smart, yes, there IS a way to do #3 in less, but you have to change the message... 6B 62 20 53 55 78 24 95 89 F2 CD 21 EB FA
oh, and 2/4 don't really qualify as intros since there's nothing moving on the screen. but who cares. |

ooops, I meant the 2nd ( and not the 3rd ) might look nice on slow cpu >_<
ryg: at that point of optimization I'm not sure there's many ways to cut some bytes off though for having already learnt some tricks in other's source code I think that sometimes you have to face the reality and admit that some tricks are really efficient and you can not go without them
but I don't know if we have a total rip or the other case here

Judging from the fact that atleast #1 is byte-identical to fr-016b (with one exception, the step with byte), I strongly think it's ripping :) |

2 and 4 crash
5 '.com' files never done one intro !!!
it's like sending 5 pictures and saying it's a slideshow
the 1.com is too much like fr's one, and it is slow as hell (i can see better scrollings on my Amstrad CPC with Z80 8bits at 3.3Mhz)
that's why this 'prod' sucks
