i guess this is what a bits demo would look like if they/he spent more time with modern hardware. :) nothing impressive, but it has its charm, and for this year's compo, it was pretty decent. |

in all honesty, there are 3 problems with the demo that are fairly easy to fix in the future:
1) totally unimaginative effects - maybe try to focus on an effect showing ONE thing rather than an effect with an overlay of another effect (metaballs with mandelbrot projected upon then and such horrors)
2) Bad timing. Same thing happens for 1 minute.
3) Utterly horrible music. Your brother cannot compose, sorry.

Trust me, my brother can do much better. Demo music is just not his style of music (Or when I ask him to make me a classic demo music I get something different than what I expect :). And there was the deadline so he decided to give it unfinished.
I thought the juhlia stars were slightly imaginitive. Well not much, but slightly. Most shader demos are just some 3d scenes with tons of layer effects. I think. But thanks anyways for the suggestions. |

Also, if your brother can't do standard demo music, then go with what he does! Some variety in the demoscene won't do no harm for sure!
I like the this new take on oldschool effects.
And like the others said, stop saying your stuff sucks, it gives a very negative feeling to the audience. |
