it is somewhat "long" in the first part, nevertheless it does set a really nice mood! The credits part looks nice too, but feel somewhat unconnected to the "deep sea" part.
Did you know that one of my title suggestions for Sincere was "Deep"? ;)

Nice job!

well, the original point was that the entire deep ecosystem was actually inside an artificial alien aquarium of sorts, but it didnt really translate that well in practical terms it seems, we're not ASD yet :P

deep is abit of a cliché name for clip of underwater thingies :D

It's long and mostly single-effect, but hey, that's to be expected when something's released under this banner and not necessarily a bad thing (though I personally often dislike such demos). But this one does it nicely, it has a really relaxing mood and doesn't use abstractness/minimalism as an excuse for low-tech graphics, which is something that often annoys me in such productions. All in all a nice demo.

oh, I interpreted the credits scene right then ;) though they look rather disconected when taken separately the transition (zooming out of the big black blob) makes it work well for me

Yeah I also get the idea now that ps wrote it - there's always room for improvement, right? :) Sure it's a cliché name, but it fits the demo at least.

Wow...that's a really nice release! What a pity that you couldn't get it to work in the compo. On the other hand, this kind of demo is often better suited for viewing at home.
Btw, the transition from first to second part worked perfectly well for me...any kind of additional effect would've hurt the calm atmosphere.

really great demo imho

The length + the groupnames kind of afraid me, but I really liked it : great atmosphere, great visuals, great soundtrack, nice end... and the length is fine :p.

i cringed at the length comments initially but after running it it's beautiful enough to pull off being so slow; plus good sound

the 2nd scene does feel a bit rushed though

Awesome, really great atmosphere. Soundtrack matches perfectly. Feels like a dive at around 30 metres.

i could bear some more action, but it has its charm

nice one.

Looks nice and underwatery. The second part looks like a different demo, but it's another good one :)

added on the 2009-04-22 by Decipher

- More boring than Traction by Traction
- Music would glitch every once in awhile
- End part was pretty, but incoherent
- Jellyfish were nice
Pig.
added on the 2009-04-24 by Ferris
jellyfish were nice yes, but too uneventful and dull for me.

i really liked both scenes and music, transition was too fast, though. nice to see such good processing demo!

beautiful, full of atmosphere and finally not really a noise tune, but an atmospheric one! great surprise!

nice

And now make a nice screensaver out of it. ;-)

Atmosphere works out pretty well first but since the demo doesn't develop in any direction, it gets boring rather fast. Also, i don't really like to download either updates (Java) or toolkits (GC) to run a demo. All in all: A nice try.

too boring for a thumb up
JAVA :-((

Very good ambient demo, works for me :)
added on the 2009-05-02 by Alpha C
not my taste, boring
  added on the 2009-05-03 by
Seemed like a nice ambient demo but the music glitched the whole way through with a rhythmic pattern on the left channel. On a 2.4GHz MacBook with OS X 10.5.7.
added on the 2009-06-28 by raina
I mean on the right channel.
