I'm pretty sure this game didnt need cracking either? I remember playing from backup copies I made myself with x-copy or something.

I'm pretty (as in 100%) sure that this game required cracking as there was a manual protection. In fact it wasn't one of those "can be cracked in 2 minutes" protections that were usually found in Microprose games which was somewhat special.

@StingRay: Yeah I thought that would be the case. Even though I did play the crap out of this when it came out I can't really remember, and I don't have my A500+ set up to try it out.
